The Riverbanks Zoo is an amazing day trip for any Columbia apartment resident who needs a little bit of the wild side. There are over 2,00 animals here waiting to make your acquaintance. Check out the African Plains and see giraffes, zebras, ostriches and more on this 2 acre exact replica of the African savanna. The Aquarium Reptile Complex is a Columbia apartment resident favorite. It's an award winning 20,000 square foot reptile lovers paradise with amphibians, fish, and all kinds of invertebrates that will fascinate you. Are you a bird lover? Columbia apartment residents with a fetish for our feathered friends love the Birdhouse at Riverbanks. There are three very different birdhouses here all geared toward different geographical areas. See birds from the Penguin Coast, the Asian Trek and the Savanna Camp. Columbia apartments residents can even get a little taste of Australia at the Riverbanks Zoo.
