Inside of every apartment resident is a thirst to learn more about the natural world around them, and what better place to do just that then at the Detroit Science Center. Children and Adults alike will have an exciting journey of fun and intrigue as they find themselves learning about the fascinating world of science. It's the most fun you'll ever have learning biology. There are always a number of different exhibits, all focusing around one major branch of the scientific world. Their space exhibits takes you through the interesting world of space exploration, with reproductions of real spacecrafts, with cutaway sections so you can see just what it's like for the astronauts inside. For those looking for something a little more personal, you can check out the life exhibit, to learn all about your body and keeping it healthy. There are numerous other exhibits to discover, with more being added daily, but you'll just have to come to the museum and see for yourself. For astronomy fans, the Dassault Systemes Planetary is one section of the museum you'd be crazy to pass up. Using a special digital CGI system, the galaxies, stars, and planetary bodies here move like nothing you've ever seen before, and with its fifty-foot dome, you're sure to feel awed by the breath-taking beauty of the spectacle. The museum is also home to Detroit's only IMAX theater, where you can watch movies like you never have before, and its three-story screen, many shows featuring startling 3-dimensional effects. It's a must-see for movie fans. Young or old, there's always something interesting to find at the Detroit Science Center. Apartment-ites looking for an interesting way to learn about the world around them need only take the drive down to Detroit's number one location to learn about the natural world.
