Far Rockaway is a neighborhood of Queens, which is a borough of New York City. Far Rockaway is located on the eastern end of a peninsula known as the Rockaways. Other neighborhoods on this peninsula include Edgemere, Arverne, Hammels, Rockaway Beach, Rockaway Park, Belle Harbor, Neponsit, and more.
