Taco joints and Tex-Mex huts are all over the place in Houston, and have become a everyday sight for many apartment-ites, but where do you go if you want more upscale dining from a Mexican place? With exquisite ambiance, world-class cooking and fascinating history, Joe T. Garcia's has become one of the most popular restaurants in all of Dallas, and with food like this, that popularity is guaranteed to grow. When you walk in to Joe T. Garcia's, you'll wonder if you're in the wrong place. The stone columns, votive candles and large pool in the back patio don't make the place seem anything like any of the many Mexican restaurants you've been to. Rest assured, this is Joe T. Garcia's, one of the most beautiful restaurants in all of Dallas. The ambiance, however, pales in comparison to the delicious food. Gorgeous surroundings can only take you so far, and in the end the proof is the in the food. It may not be as varied or as unique as many places around town, but the greatness comes exclusively from the quality. They've become famous throughout Dallas for their delicious Enchiladas, and they've been making them just the same, with grandma's famous recipe, for years. They also have the option of fajitas, with fresh beef or chicken, as well as the best vegetables, pico, guacamole and their home made flour tortillas. If you're peckish on weekend mornings and can handle a trip out, make sure to try Joe's delicious breakfast menu, including migas, huevos rancheros, chilliquiles, or even tortilla soup, or come in at lunch for a completely different, but still delicious, taste of the other side of the border. Mexican food may be a dime a dozen in the big D, but no place does it quite like Joe T. Garcia's. Dallas apartment-ites may never need to find another place for their Mexican food needs.
