Irish pubs are a dime a dozen in the Houston area, so you have to ask yourself what makes one pub better than the other. One great criterion is its selection of beers, wines and other alcohol. The Mucky Duck delivers with flair on this one, with a fine selection of beers, mostly showing off in terms of ales from the UK. Old Speckled Hen, Newcastle, Belhaven and Boddington are just some of the great ales to choose from, as well as other forms including Guiness and Harp. Also, there are numerous domestics to choose from, including Houston's own Shiner Bock and St. Arnold.
