So you're a health-conscious guy or gal, and you've got your swinging apartment in Houston and all that fun that comes with it, but many of the restaurants only cater to those looking for giant steaks or huge burgers or large plates of pasta loaded in sauce. What is one to do? Well, take a drive on down to The Hobbit Café, where the meals are as down to earth as the surroundings. The Hobbit Café is all about combining the healthy with the delicious. While many places may say they're health conscious, it's just not fun is all you're eating is sprouts and tofu. The Hobbit Café believes that healthy food can be food, and they offer a wide array of things that follow just that philosophy. Of course, their vegetarian and vegan options are always there for those with stricter dietary needs, but there's also plenty of delicious sandwiches, homemade soups, and even seafood dishes, all cooked by very apt hands. The restaurant looks more like a bed-and-breakfast than a health hut, with white picket fences running along the length of the place. Walking in is even more a shock, with all the wood and earthy brown that surrounds you, you'd think you've walked into an actually Hobbit's den. The walls are covered with magical painting, adding even more to the mystique of the place. If you're a vegetarian in Houston, or just a health nut, there are few better options for your lunch, dinner, or even breakfast needs. No more hiding in your apartment because you can't find a place that will cater to your diet, because the Hobbit Café has something that will please just about everyone, with great decor to boot.
