Located right in beautiful Lakeland Florida is a beautiful oasis that can ease away the stresses of the workday for any Lakeland apartment resident. It is one of the most gorgeous public parks and gardens in Lakeland and has even been voted one of the Best of Class Gardens by the Gulf Coast Research and Education Center. Located on 1.2 acres, this splendid botanical garden was donated to the city by the Hollis family. A visit here can educate the novice Lakeland apartment dweller on thousands of types of flowering plants, amazing ornamental shrubs, some very historically important trees, and myriad herbs and vegetables. Hollis Garden apartment residents fully enjoy the grotto, Koi ponds, fountains, waterfalls and lily pond at a moments notice. View the two herb rooms and revel in the succulent aromas that come from each. Visit the Tropical room and delight in the exotic plants there. Lakeland apartment dwellers can take a break from the rat race and relax in the butterfly room, wander through the orchard or marvel at the Trees of America display. There is quite a lot to do and see here for any Lakeland apartment dweller in need of a little natural experience. The aromas alone are worth the trip.
