Owned by renowned chef Daniel Boloud, Daniel is one of the top spots in the city for a calm, romantic out, with some of the best food in the city cooked by the top chefs in the world. For an upscale dining experience in the big city, it doesn’t get much better than this. The food here is strictly French, and the entire crew of chefs is ready to serve up the best in town. Start your meal with one of their delicious appetizers, including almond crusted foie gras terrine, red legged partridge consomme, yellowfin tuna tartar with caviar, or kataifi crusted sea scallops, or even their Florida frog legs. The main courses change based on the season, but for falls flavors you can find black sea bass with syrah sauce, served with leek royale and pommes lyonnaise, duck breast with sweet potato, radicchio, and cara cara orange, milk-fed veal with chanterelles, or a due of dry aged black angus beef, with a short rib with sunchokes and a rib eyed with hazelnut-potato croquette. You can also get a three-course prix fixe meal for the best experience, or try something from the vegetarian menu, if you’re so inclined.
