Your dog, who is used to living in a Sacramento apartment, will love you for taking him or her to Sutter's Landing Regional Park, where his apartment domain is far away. The park of over 163 acres has areas for both small dogs and large dogs, and plenty of parking so you don't have to walk from your Sutter's Landing apartments. But your dog, should you have one, should not be dictating where you are to go to play hand ball, basketball or bocce ball that can be played here. You are the ruler of your Sacramento apartment, and you get to decide. Additional amenities of this fine new park with the dog park just opening in May 2009 include a picnicking canopy for special events or just get togethers with your buddies from your Sutter's Landing apartments. It's nicely landscaped with plenty of green area. In addition to the ball courts, there exists here a bike trail, a hiking trail head to areas outside the park, and in the future, a connection to the well known Two Rivers Bike Trail. There's also a concession stations if you and your friends can't make it back to your Sacramento apartments after work in time to grab a bite before a competitive game. Generally clean restrooms are also available here. So whether or not you have a dog at your Sutter's Landing apartment, Sutter's Landing Regional Park is a great place to play a game of ball or take a walk.
