Practically a shrine to all things beer, 69 Taps presents exactly what such a moniker would lead you to believe - close to seventy beers from around the globe, all on draught and all reasonably priced. How reasonable? Try their daily happy hours between 4-7 p.m., when you can sample over fifty different domestic and imported drafts for only $2 each. Super premium imports are only three bucks, so why not try that exotic Holy Moses ale you've been hankering for? Everything from the truly adventurous Vanilla Bean Porter to the steak-and-potatoes basics like Amberbock can be found at 69 Taps, ensuring a satisfied outing regardless of how many fellow apartment-ites you bring along. A basic bar menu is offered for those late night cravings (chicken wings, nachos and the like), but 69 Taps is truly a pub at heart, meaning their efforts are put primarily into the beer they serve rather than the size of their food menu. Still, they offer $1 burgers on Sundays, so basking in the late afternoon sun of their back open-air patio, beer mug in hand, isn't the worst way we can think of to wrap up the weekend.
