When we first moved in, within 24 hours two cabinet doors fell off. Those two doors still keep coming off. This is the worse place anyone can live. Two windows are broken and been that way for 2 years now. Also notified them about a weak spot in one the bedrooms. The floor feels like it's going to collapse. They only keep the super around for 3-6 months and then terminates them. That's why no repairs are ever finished. Not to mention the neighborhood. The first 3 months of living here I witnessed, heard, and was involved in over 20 shootouts. One time I was coming from the store and decided to talk to my neighbor about the shootings, when a shootout began right in front of me. I've been here 3 years, unfortunately. This summer alone there have been 2 murders right in front of my building, so now NYPD has a surveillance tower on the corner to try to protect my block. Well now they just murder you around the corner from the view of the tower. Two killings, both only a block away. One of the people killed was holding a baby in their arms when they were killed. I am afraid for my children and my lives. We pay rent to be afraid and get no benefits of being in this place other than the price. It's low, $1091 for a 2 bedroom 1 bath. You get what you pay for.
