Move into this building at your own risk...
July 1, 2021This building is rat-infested (they're in the walls and ceilings, with several sightings in tenants' units). And worse, the management company is dishonest, evasive, and ineffective. At one point, they put poison pellets in the ceiling (after being instructed to do so by an exterminator who confirmed the building was infested), and when a few rats died, the smell lingered and flies began coming out of ceiling vents. There was no further action taken, and the rats have continued to thrive. Units ...are also often marketed as being larger than they are, and the walls are very thin. Lead, Rodents, and Security Cameras
June 9, 2020Management replaced my windows without my knowledge or consent, even though I had previously informed them that there was probably lead in the window areas. They asked me to vacate for 2 days to fix my floors after a DCRA complaint and when I returned, my unit was extremely dusty. They didn't tell me that they replaced the windows, so I didn't realize that initially. I ended up contacting the Department of Energy and Environment and they found increased lead levels in my apartment. A private ...inspector hired by management also found extremely high levels of lead on my personal items. There was an issue with rats in the walls that a number of tenants complained about. A few of the tenants with cars in the parking spaces had to repair their cars due to damage caused by rats or mice. Management put up security cameras in and around the building without informing the tenants. There are 7 units in the building, and there are around 4 or 5 cameras in the building and 2 or 3 outside. The camera on my floor points directly at my door. The walls are very thin, so you will probably be able to hear your neighbors, but the neighbors are very considerate.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
