you don't have your own vehicle, and you don't want to walk or take a taxi, a quick 5 minute bus ride will have you at the Tenleytown Metro where more of the city becomes available for you to access. Did I mention how many bus stops you have to choose from? There is a Giant right across the street and several eateries and shops are popping up on the block. I use Wells Fargo to bank and they are right there too. Yes the price is a little more then you can get elsewhere around DC, but for the convenience and the amazing location, I was hard pressed to find a better buy. 3222 has a nice mix of younger professionals and families living here. Most of the college students congregate around the other, more well known Apartment communities, so if you are worried about that don't be. Everyone I have met so far has been very nice and respectable, someone even gave me some extra quarters so I could do my laundry one night. Speaking of that there are 2 washing and 2 drying machines in each building, 1.75 in quarters per load and about 45 minutes for each cycle. I have only had to wait a few times to do my laundry. The apartment includes all utilities aside from Internet, Phone and Cable, and has free storage space. Yes the floor does creek when you are walking down the hallway, but when I am inside my apartment I have only very rarely heard this, or my neighbors. Although there are very popular eateries/night time hangouts here, I don't even notice the sound which was a major worry of mine when I first looked into these apartments. Danielle, the Property Manager, is also hard to beat. I wish I had moved in sooner.
