We're looking for someone reliable who can rent it long-term. Nestled up a hill in a safe, gated community in San Rafael, this townhome is a peaceful retreat with sweeping mountain views, high vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams, and a cozy brick fireplace that made us fall in love with it from day one. This gated community is in a great location close enough to the city life of downtown San Francisco but far enough away to enjoy more space, quiet, and greenery. Getting into the city is easy, and crossing the Golden Gate Bridge never gets old! If you ever need a change of pace, you're also just 20 minutes from Famous Sausilito, 30 minutes from downtown Sonoma, and 45 minutes from Napa Valley's world-famous vineyards. One-time $500 pet deposit (refundable), and it's a $50/monthly pet rent. Is smoking allowed? No, this is a non-smoking home. **** What is the area like? The townhome is in a lush, green, and woodsy setting, making it feel cozy and peaceful. The area is quiet, with no traffic/highway noise or airplanes flying overhead. Is this a good area for families? Yes! The neighborhood is family-friendly, with great schools, parks, and safe streets for walking and playing. What are the neighbors like? The neighbors are excellent—friendly, respectful, and community-oriented. Is the community safe? Yes, the townhome is in a safe, gated community with excellent neighbors. Is the area walkable? Yes, the residential neighborhood is excellent for walking, especially if you have a dog. There are sidewalks and beautiful streets to stroll through. Are there good bike routes? Yes, the area has great bike routes for recreational rides, though most errands will still require a car. Do I need a car to live here?
