easily be removed if I ever do leave....I covered the boring and basic white tile floor with wood grain looking contact paper, then laid river rocks I purchased at a floral shop, all around the edges and laid bamboo mats along the center of the floor, then I also faux finished the walls in there as well. I bought 2 shower rods which I hung parallel to one another, on the inner rod I put up an opaque plastic curtain with leaves on it, then on the outer rod I hung 2 silk curtains on either side and then hung a 3 panel I fashioned into a valance along the top. I also purchased an over the toilet cabinet for extra storage but to also complete the look. All in all, the bathroom now has a very zen, peaceful spa like feel. I adore my little sanctuary in the city, however, the downside is that the building is owned by one of the most notorious slum lords in NYC, therefore I must endure some pretty awful things, but I'm fighting back, so hopefully, one day, justice will be served!
