January 10, 2025Cannot warn strongly enough - DO NOT MOVE HERE, especially as long as The Stonekey Group manages the property. The neighbors are lovely, but the absentee owner and Stonekey Group do not deserve a penny. I lived here for several years before Stonekey Group took over. Everything has gotten worse AND more expensive. While it was always old and a bit run down, Stonekey now neglects repairs and improvements they promised while ALSO raising rent 20% and adding extra fees. Stonekey Group is ...patronizing and disregards tenant concerns. This has led to living conditions that range from irritating to completely unacceptable, such as recurring gas leaks from the very old gas heaters that Stonekey does not inspect or maintain, even after explicit tenant reporting. They also added a $55 monthly water fee, to name just one, which is factually a total ripoff given Atlanta municipal water fees and individual water bills from all my past and even current apartment in Atlanta. Stonekey loves to use the location as an excuse for the increased rent and fees, despite the fact that these are some of the smallest 1-bedrooms in Midtown without even basic amenities - no bathroom vent, no dishwasher, no ventilation for the gas stoves, kitchen cabinets and counters are falling apart, no central heating or cooling, oldest fuse boxes I’ve ever seen and they frequently break, very old paper thin windows that cause high heating/cooling bills all year. Just a few more examples of MANY issues with this property - parking lot floods when it rains, causing expensive damage to cars. Stonekey Group does not maintain the shared washers or dryers (1 washer doesn’t get hot water, 1 dryer barely works) so 3-4 old machines are shared by 12-14+ people. Laundry is all coin operated anyway, another reason the new water fee is bogus. Worsening pest problems, because they don’t send monthly pest control services anymore despite that being included in the lease. When they do send pest control, they use untrained guys who have no idea how to properly apply the chemical spray. They wouldn’t even install a single bike rack, despite being in the most bikeable part of Atlanta (which they love advertising). ALL of this has been reported repeatedly to Stonekey and the owner in formal letters - they do not care. Do not waste your money here.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
