Don't move here
November 14, 2022I would not recommend anyone live here. They just raised our rent $150 with a THREE DAY notice. What is that rent increase for? There is hardly anyone in the office, it seems like it's always closed and good luck ever getting someone on the phone. The management and maintenance teams are constantly changing employees. A group of boys breaks into people's cars almost every night and management has been made aware before but has done nothing about it. We have caught people on our Ring doorbell ...making drug deals and letting their dogs poo without picking it up. Other people just let their dogs out without leashes. There are signs that say there is security, but there is none. There are also signs that say towing is enforced which had been suspended. They recently left notes on everyone's doors saying that towing has been re-instated, but we haven't seen a tow truck come through here since, so my guess is they probably still don't. So please tell me what this extra $150 is for because NOTHING gets done. We've also made complaints twice now about getting the tree behind us cut back, the first job was horrible and the tree grew right back. It's been almost two weeks since we heard anything else regarding our second complaint about it. They also decided to start charging people pest control about a year ago (which they didn't when we first moved in) and I don't ever see that either. There are spiders everywhere and just recently we have seen 3 BIG roaches in about a week. Assuming they're trying to get away from the cold, but still, where is the routine pest control for that? I shouldn't be seeing any of those roaches. We've been here going on three years now and have had to have the roof repaired twice, we've had a squirrel in our attic space twice (Plot twist: just found out it's RATS and not a squirrel), the parking lot floods, the mail gets put in the wrong boxes (not the property's fault, but still an issue), I'm sure I could go on. I don't think this place is worth what they are charging in rent at all.Property Manager Responded

MOVE IN AT YOUR OWN RISK
August 6, 2022Worst place I've ever lived including public housing when I was growing up. It's always something wrong and maintenance is a joke. Everything they fix is half done. They can't keep leasing staff or maintenance. I am counting down the seconds I can run from this place!!! They don't even deserve the one star I am forced to give them.Property Manager Responded

Mice
February 27, 2019We have a mouse problem. Within a span of about a month we have had 4 mice, our back storage closet constantly has mouse droppings and we find droppings in the corners of our kitchen. managemt has been notified and they have tried to fix the problem by providing mouse traps but that doesn’t stop them from somehow finding their way in. We have small children and feel very uncomfortable and still have 9 months on our lease. I really liked living here until the problem became apparent and would just ...simply like to feel comfortable in my own home but it seems we are on our own.Property Manager Responded

New resident
June 24, 2016I recently moved here and LOVE the townhome. Its always quiet. It's clean. The grounds are kept nicely. I do not hear my neighbors and everyone I've met has been friendly. The place itself is HUGE and updated. I love the location as well. I am close to shopping, chesapeake, and portsmouth. It's secluded enough, but close enough to everything I could want or need. The management has been wonderful so far, maintenance as well. So far things have been wonderful, and I'm looking forward to my future ...here!!!
