Bad experience
September 18, 2024It's a great location to live right near I20 and convenient shopping. However, the have high turnover of management and staff. The current manager doesn't listen. The maintenance staff is incompetent and the manager backs their maintenance team which consists of two people. Don't expect maintenance to be able to handle a lot of different maintenance requests. They only know the basics changing filters, locks. Showerheads. Stuff that doesn't require much knowledge. If you're expecting any help ...with major electrical or plumbing concerns don't move here. I've put in numerous request. Sat and watched them do the work only for them to turn around and say they installed or fixed something and only covered it up. Lied to my face while I was watching. Move somewhere that has a maintenance team that knows what they are doing. They will cover up water damaged trim with paint. I watched them do it. This is their style of maintenance and maintaining the unit. I do not have an updated aprlartment either. If you want to pay rent for a place to live and make sure things get resolved the way you want it make sure they have a competent staff.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
Bad Experience (read for details)
July 7, 2021The following is a layout of what occurred the fourth of July weekend and along with this week: Saturday I receive a sticker on one of my vehicles. I called the apartments and leave a voicemail to discuss it on the next business day. Sunday I realize my other vehicle has the sticker as well. I still think i can discuss it with the office on the next business day. Sunday night i am in military uniform leaving to go to work and realize my Jeep is getting towed. I get the office manager which ...lives in the apartment and the tow driver leaves with my Jeep. Amber the manager states that she will get the driver to return the vehicle the following day and I will not be charged. Monday that isn't the case I have to wait until Tuesday to get the situation resolved. Tuesday I go to the DMV and get the situation resolved which was they were taking forever with my car tag due to me having Alabama insurance. I only had knowledge of what was happening on Wednesday the 30 of June. There was nothing telling me to let the apartment office know of this. I actually talked to them on Friday and they didn't mention it was a problem. 300 dollars later I get my vehicle. I see Stacy on Tuesday as well. She states that the office staff didn't have any knowledge of my vehicle being towed. She tells me that it shouldn't have been towed and she understands why I am angry. Later that day I was told that the office staff is the one that approved the tow. Stacy tells me that I will not be reimbursed the money because they just don't do that. Wednesday Intermark calls and discusses the situation with me. They are the corporate office of the Keswick. They tell me that the Tow Truck Driver isn't suppose to be placing stickers on the cars. This is suppose to be done by the Office Staff. I actually asked the tow truck driver for a job. I walk my dog every night and I can put stickers on cars. He told me that other residence are the ones who told on me after they got caught. Yes this is the environment. Finally i would not recommend this apartment complex. They make decisions and blame the tow company for it. They don't accept responsibility for these actions which isn't a place to live. You shouldn't have to worry about the apartment staff trying to screw you over when you are paying these prices. I hope this review helps you make your decision.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com

Great place to call home
February 27, 2019We rented at The Keswick Apts for a total of 3 years and 7 months, recently purchased a house and moved. Departure process was smooth and Miss Kay was very helpful, as well as the wonderful office staff. Great place to live, peaceful and quiet. A lot of military, some renting for the short term due to various deployments and some really long term remnants. The maintenance and office personnel are always on top of things, we’ve had a few small issues over the years and they were prompt and ...professional. No matter what property you rent, there will always be subjective opinions. I can tell you with outmost confidence, the Keswick Apts. Is a great value for price, location and amenities. I love it!
April 23, 2018This is THE best place to live in the Northeast. Its conveniently located to everything- interstate without the noise, fine dining across the street-and more importantly-doesn't feel like an apartment. My apartment is laid out more like a home-with closet space to die for. Its quiet. Grounds are well manicured. Swimming pool is sparkling and always has friendly faces. December 11, 2016If considering The Keswick for your new home, we would suggest getting a 2 bedroom with a garage. That will solve a few issues this complex has. One bedroom parking is hard to come by, unless you're close to the over flow parking... which is near mainly garage apartments. Sometimes those with garages will choose to park where parking has been designated for those without garages. Know ahead of time they bill you sewage which is never less than $27 dollars plus usage. If you want to wash your ...clothing I would suggest spending a couple hundred dollars and buying your own set, it's $50 a month here Upon being told "our" apartment was ready, we were told they had actually rented our apartment to someone else and that the only apartment they had was $200 more. When we were inspecting the apartment there was a vodka bottle under the sink, there was a DISH receiver plug still plugged in, and the carpets had probably only been vacuumed because furniture marks were still very present. Making it very obvious they had done a quick turn around. Our first month the ceiling leaked all over our bedroom. While they did respond promptly, they merely covered the ceiling with paint. When asked about our concern of mold, we were told they would likely "scrape the ceiling when we moved out." That was a bit concerning since we had just signed our lease. The ceiling had clearly leaked before as there is many patches, we've concluded they have never "scraped" the ceiling. There are similar eye sore patches in the living room where it is obvious the ceiling has leaked. A broken and ignored sprinkler leaked up into the floor of our apartmrmt destroying hundreds of dollars worth of books. Not only that but they did not come promptly this time and it was not until we called and then walked into the office that anyone came at all. The entire floor was mildewed and the books were destroyed. I'm not sure if many of you are familiar but most renter's insurances will not cover water that comes up through the floor, that's considered flood damage. They will email about parties but will only leave a note on the door for important things like inspections or pest control. We were gone one of these days and not only did they come in and spray but they closed doors locking up our animals. Halfway through our stay it seems the entire office staff left or was fired. This is still a mystery to us. The new staff seems nice, but without a sense of urgency. Would not recommend.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
Feels like a house without the yard work!
August 1, 2015My apartment is a two bed/two bath, 1305 sf. It is huge! Private entrance, crown molding, oversized closets, large kitchen, garden tubs, wood burning fireplace, built in desk and so much more. It really has tons of custom features that you don't normally find in an apartment. Love it here and love the fact it feels like a home. Beautiful amenities and landscaping. Pet park for the dogs. Putting green and amazing pool and grilling area. My neighbors are great and it feels like one huge family- ...everyone is so friendly. July 21, 2015The community center is lovely. I have not used it yet. The pool is well maintained and we love using it every morning. The management is very friendly. The maintenance staff is understaffed, however they are doing the best they can. The residents we have met are professionals and work in the military. Each apartment has a separate entrance to its own garage entrance. That is one of the great features of the apartments. The grounds are kept in great order.Reseña de Apartments.com
