  • Worst place I've ever lived!

    I've lived here a little under a year and have had problems with roaches seen rats, mold and the building has holes in walls leaks In several places mold in several place and they just put a band aid and call it a day. The worst of all of this is it took me 4 mo to get rid of the roaches and when I complained about a trash shoot issue I was treated extremely poorly by the new manager and now have to move even though he has had several complaints already of treating residents like we are beneath ...

No I am being treated completely wrong called with a heater issue not working was told by Kendra it's not her problem or her job so went without heat all night and still without it as of now. Greystar is just a voice-mail I've called several times and yet to get a return call if anyone. This place is ran horrible would be a nice place if it was managed properly and professionally don't waste time or money look somewhere else...

  • I wish I had read the reviews beforehand…

    This is half of a list of the problems here: AC does not work in a few of the buildings, the property is completely neglected by maintenance currently, much of the gym machinery is broken. The property could be really nice, but the current team has let it go entirely and refuses to address problems, if at all, in a timely manner. The toilets are tiny and constantly overflow, faucets look disgusting, the “remodeled” rooms are LAUGHABLE, the interior is outdated and smells bad in several of the 6 ...
    buildings, lights are constantly going out, scary people have been moving in in the last month or so, etc. There’s a lot to be said and unfortunately currently none of it is positive, except that the girls in the office are kind and Belmar is nice. Other than that, I’m too embarrassed to bring anyone over while I’m living here. And good LUCK trying to get any important issues solved. Please do not waste your time considering this as an option.

  • Lakeview Towers Leaving as soon as contract is up

    Our A/C cooling system is down. I am sitting in 94 degree heat. Has happened before, they did not think to order the part that has had issues ahead of summer. Building 1 and 2 are with out air. It is Saturday. Been off since last week.

  • Lived here for little under two years DONT MOVE HERE

    Lakeview Towers is a rather old complex built around the time of the now destroyed Villa Mall. It’s a relic of time with many issues that come from its age. For starters I lived there a little under two years in building 4. We hoped with it being a GREYSTAR property it would be better taken care of. First off upon moving we had to have the place sprayed for ROACHES TWICE. It’s so disgustingly common for the complex they have an Orkin service for the property onsite once a week. It’s boiler ...
    heating and a “chilller” and they can only run one or the other in season. WE WOULD NEVER LIVE HERE AGIAN and pray that you don’t. It’s not worth it’s value for a little extra you can have brand new apartments all around it. Maintenance is allegedly on site 24/7 our building overlooks their giant garage but from the dishwasher, plumbing in the master, garbage disposal and sink leak no issue took under a month to resolve. (It’s the worst maintenance team we’ve ever experienced you’ll see them a lot but never quite sure what they are doing.) Mac-Gray laundry service is a NIGHTMARE their laundry machines are broken for weeks on end, months we were taking stuff to a laundry mat, other floors, and buildings. Christian was the only member in the office that acts like a professional and even if he can’t resolve the issue he expressed genuine sympathies. The others have horrendous attitude as if your inconveniencing them especially their most recent hire. The no deposit/ monthly fee is a racket they still try to impose cleaning fees as you leave. Even though we deep cleaned after our movers were finished. I’ve lived in apartments all my life and never felt more obligated to leave a review and tell you DONT MOVE HERE it’s the worst place I’ve ever lived and we are so glad to be gone. The allure is their lake, dog park, new “amenities” area. It was closed for COVID most of the year. And the pool was open for a full summer either year I stayed there. Loud building old buzzing doors and the stairwells are always littered with cigarettes. Theirs COVID precautions didn’t even limit elevator to one party with signage. Move here at your own risk but you’ve been warned.

During the COVID-19 pandemic we diligently followed local and federal guidelines with proper signage around the community and due to our staffing situation we were unable to monitor elevators and amenities .   • Avoid Lakeview Towers

    July 18, 2020
    This is by far the noisiest apartment complex I have ever lived at. If you live anywhere near the pool, don't expect to get a good night's sleep during the summer because people will constantly trespass into the pool well after the pool hours. Management and their security company apparently can't fix this problem - or they don't care to try to fix it. Also, you can expect your neighbors to set off fireworks from their balcony and trip the fire alarm throughout the night. Good luck resting with ...
    that noise. On top of that, you can expect cockroaches, ants, and crickets in your unit even if you routinely clean it. There are much better places to live for a little more money in the Belmar area. Looking forward to leaving Lakeview Towers.

  • Its almost they are trying to stop you from having a safe pieceful time

    I have stayed in a lot of apartments all the way from India to England and now America. I must say Lakeview towers is the worst I have ever stayed at. Almost every complaint I had and made the staff aware of still remain unsolved despite many, many complaints. The shower till date will randomly spit really hot water at you despite staff coming to repair it 4 to 5 times it has now come to the point I just don't see why to complain as nothing will happen. I have complained about the dog issues time ...
    and time again above me yet almost every day and night it still is the same. I don't know what the staff did if they did anything to make sure the sound is not disturbing. I have multiple sclerosis and this was made clear to the manager at the time before I even moved in to the apartment complex this means I am more sensitive to loud sounds as I am a very light sleeper due to this. I have had sleepless night after sleepless night with last night more of the same till 2 am. I can't take naps during the day no matter how sick I am and I always have to wear ear plugs as the construction of the apartment is not worth the price tag maybe some sound insolation would help justify it a bit more. It's more like living in a dorm than an expensive apartment complex the gym is the only thing they have done a good job with the lake is great too. I just have no peace in this apartment making sure it does not feel like home. My illness can be very overwhelming but to then have to worry about almost everything about the apartment. I asked them to come fix the AC and the advice given to me was tape a cardboard box to the other vents so it pushes air to the far room, I still keep asking myself is this a joke? Don't even get me started on the kitchen drain and dishwasher repeatedly overflowing it often smells terrible I have to use the dishwasher twice as it makes the dishes smell too. Had an issue closing my bathroom door so I put in a work order. They came took the door away and did not return it for over a month my entire room would fog up so I had to ask repeatedly where the door was I was not given updates as they should. The washing machines often also smell like mildew of course passing the smell to your clothes too. Latest update my bike was stolen, went to the office to complain and the best they had for me was their insurance does not cover that but we did just install a new bike rack outback but didn't tell anyone.

    Lived here for 14 months. Loved the first month then everything went bad. Everything is a lofty charge with no understanding for individual circumstance. Neighbors are loud and the walls are thin. I literally have hardly even walked in the door of my apartment for the last 4 months because every time i do, I have to Lodge a noise complaint.   • We love it here- the staff makes all the difference

    The apartment is perfect for our needs as a young, busy couple we love that everything is taken care of easily. There are so many apartments in the immediate area I feel really lucky that we chose this one. The reason we did is because after contacting several complexes in the area the leasing agent, Allison, got back to us the next morning and set up a tour.     so great that every time we walk by the leasing office our dog gets excited because whenever we stop in they're so nice and even give him a treat! Here's a list of just a few of the best parts about living here: Maintenance get's done in a timely manner Everyone in the leasing office is nice and helpful We love being able to pay rent online The building feels safe and secure The grounds are beautiful and always clean The newsletter is well done,informative and very professional We appreciate the monthly community events and are impressed overall with all that the staff does. There are a lot of options in the Belmar neighborhood but we've been very glad that we chose Lakeview Towers because it really does suit our needs very well.

  • Don't Bother

    The office staff really is wonderful. They are kind, respectful, helpful, and do a great job of making you feel welcome in the community. I want to clarify that my frustrations are not a reflection of the office staff, as much of this is out of their control. Further, my apartment is renovated and in very nice condition, so my stay has been comfortable and the accommodations are modern and up to date.     things about my time here very frustrating. The smell of marijuana smoke constantly clouds the hallways and HVAC systems. I and several others have complained about these issues to the office staff, but really have not found much resolution to the issue, as it persists months later. Our apartment was overrun with small, red ants for the first 6 to 8 months of our time here, despite our best efforts to put out traps and bait. My roommate and I are VERY clean, so I can attest to this being a building-wide issue, as I have seen similar problems in the laundry rooms and heard other residents complaining as well. My biggest frustration is the lack of upkeep and cleanliness on the grounds. There is constantly dog poop (including diarrhea) spattered across the lawns all the time. I have spent hundreds of dollars treating and deworming my dog from infections she has picked up from the FOUL conditions of the grass and open spaces in the complex. I regularly vaccinate my dog and bring her to the vet for regular checkups, so this is in no part due to my lack of care. Yet, we consistently have this issue because of other residents who are irresponsible and refuse to treat their sick dogs, which is only propagated by their refusal to pick up their pets disease-ridden landmines. EXTREMELY frustrating and costly. Among other frustrating issues are the lack of parking (which fills up by 8:00PM most nights, and has terrible accommodations for guest parking), the dirty and mildew-stenched laundry facilities, and occasional badgering from high or drunken creeps on the path behind the buildings. Additionally, the heat and air conditioning systems are NOT individual to each apartment, meaning we needed to wait for heat until late October and for air conditioning until nearly June because maintenance had not "turned it on" for the building yet. Unacceptable when I can't properly heat or cool my home given the drastic changes in Colorado weather.

    Lakeview Towers is located in the heart of Belmar, Lakewood, Colorado. Six, five story buildings surround a beautiful lake with a brand new state-of-the-art Gym right on the lakeside.     featuring fine dining restaurants, movie theatres, bowling, and over seventy shops. Belmar library is four blocks away as is the Lakewood Police, Fire Dept. and local supermarkets. The entire complex is very well lit and kept extremely clean with Maintenance men available 24/7.

  • Amazing location but ammenities just O.K.

    My apartment is located two blocks from the very classy Belmar Shopping Center, which has everything you could ever need. Whole Foods, Target, Movie theater, Bowling, dining, clothing stores, and an ice rink in the Winter. The apartments are aging and need a lot of work. Towel racks are falling off, sink is leaking, carpets were not clean. When signing the lease, they promised the pool and the new gym would be open in April...it is now August. Although the pool opened a week ago, the gym remains ...
    to be opened. A big disappointment, especially when you only get to use the pool for 2-3 months before it gets cold again and the old gym has been closed for months. We do have an incredible view and a nice 'lake' in the center of the property. The apartment is descent size and the is a community washer and dryer on each floor, which is convenient. All in all, I would be happier if they fulfilled their promises of opening the pool and gym when scheduled. They did just resurface the parking lot and change the front building locks, which is great for our vehicles. Overall, I rate this place a 3.5 out of 5.

    If you like being surrounded by several other apartment complexes and corporate shopping areas, this is a good location for you. As far as Lakeview Towers at Belmar goes, not a fan. My biggest problem was the fact that they showed us a really nice apartment, but after we signed the lease and started moving in, we found that the apartment we actually got was very run down, stained carpet, outdated/nasty cupboards and so on. There is a nice little green and slimy pond with the occasional beer can ...
    floating in it, that technically the complex owns, but really it belongs to the geese that run the show around here and leave their droppings for us to walk in. They like to throw as many exorbitant fees as they can at this complex and when you need maintenance on something or have mice, they are very good at forgetting about it.
