Poor Business Ethics
October 16, 2024I lived here for 3 years. The apartments are beautiful & spacious and the grounds are gorgeous. I would not choose to live here again for these reasons: 1. Noisy neighbors. For 3 years I had two noisy residents below me. The second set of residents were the worst. One was a musician. He would yell & play music loudly at all times of the day & night. I would complain, sometimes multiple times a day. For a full year and a half I just had to endure the noise, because all they would do is send ...warnings, which were ignored. Even worse was when he started getting louder as they learned there were no repercussions. It made for a horrible living situation. 2. Appliances. They were old & didn’t work well. The washing machine usually required to be run at least twice to get a load clean. Same thing with the dishwasher. I stopped using the ice maker in the fridge. The water line had growth in it & no matter how many batches you threw away, it persisted. The oven had seen better days as well. 3. Poor business ethics. This was the worst. Entergy did not transfer the utilities back to Palmetto Creek for a month after I moved out. They had no record that I had requested this. I requested reimbursement for the time after I moved out of Palmetto Creek from 1st Lake. The bill showed that the last prior reading was on my move out day so this should have been an easy request. Instead I got someone calling me telling me that they weren’t going to pay despite acknowledging that they used the power for the entire period that I was requesting reimbursement. Too bad, so sad was their attitude. This is very poor business ethics. The person I spoke to was incredibly unprofessional. 4. So no, I will not be giving them good reviews or recommending them to my family, friends, or coworkers as requested. Steer clear of any 1st Lake property.Property Manager Responded

Please know that we do our best to address noise complaints within the guidelines of our policies, which include issuing warnings for excessive noise. Regarding your appliances, our records show that all work orders were completed, but we would have been happy to provide further follow-up if any issues persisted. As for the electricity billing, matters related to the transfer of utilities should be resolved directly with Entergy. If you have any additional questions or concerns beyond what you’ve spoken about with our team, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

September 24, 2024I have been living at these apartments for about a year. The apartments were so nice and beautiful! The pool was so much fun and clean! If there was ever an issue in the apartment Mark was the superhero and fixed it!! Tanya was the BEST leasing agent around! Go check them out.Property Manager Responded

Horrible
July 15, 2024At first i was love with the property until i received an email after my move. Palmetto is definitely on a collection spree. Received an notice for $2336. My apartment was very clean. The same i revived it is the same waY i gave it back. Charging me for celilng fan replacements , carpet, walls , extra paint etc all non sense that i feel does not apply to me . This is really affecting me and i refuse to pay for ANYTHING I KNOW WASN'T DAMAGE. Please take photos before and afterProperty Manager Responded

They are on a Collection Spree
September 21, 2022Beware, they are on a collection spree. This happened not just with me, but with few other folks whom I know lived in this apartments just recently. When you are entering the apartment take photos of every part of the apartment and also before leaving, otherwise you end up paying thousands of dollars. Even few small spots on your countertop you might end up paying up to $2000 and also will be charged for complete carpet replacement even after living up to 3 years. Earlier I have rated this ...apartments with 5 stars for the the great work that folks like Mark and Adrienne were doing, but I am sorry I had to leave a 1 star for this apartments for becoming a collection agency.Property Manager Responded

Peaceful Residence
June 2, 2021Been in the city about 3 years, and this residence has been absolutely great. I am able to get great space and peace of mind while still being in a good location near plenty of amenities. This property has the best staff that I have ever experienced. Aline and Adrienne are great at checking in on residents and the conditions of their spaces. Mark in maintenance knows the complex, and is an awesome help to residents. I have really enjoyed living here! My family/friends really love visiting!Property Manager Responded

You guys were and are amazing and truly set the bar when it comes to professionalism and attending to the needs of your tenants. Great Place to Live!
June 20, 2020I lived here for a job I had and let me just say this apartment complex is one of the best I’ve stayed in. The maintenance crew is active and fast and the front office is very friendly and open to helping you in any way. Gated community with a walking trail and was very safe. Perfect for short term stay
February 23, 2020Was in town for 3 months and needed a furnished apartment. They were more than accommodating, even on a short term notice. The “executive” package had literally everything (furniture, linens, kitchenware, cable tv, etc). Administration was super helpful with everything that came up. Replacing a lost key was a no problem, developed a running toilet that got fixed that day (shout out to Adrienne in the front office her all of her help!) The list goes on... Apartments are by no means brand new, ...but everything was clean and worked well. Would recommendProperty Manager Responded

Great Place to Live
September 3, 2019I moved to the area 2 plus years ago and after looking at A LOT of apartments, I found Palmetto Creek and still think it is the best place to live. It is conveniently located in Elmwood...easy access to the airport as well as the city. Both the administrative and maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. I feel safe with gated parking. I use the recently updated fitness room and can choose between two swimming pools nearby. It is a pet friendly place with well behaved pets AND owners.
