Love This Place
August 3, 2021I have truly enjoyed living at Pebble Creek Apartments these past 3 years. The management staff is very professional. The maintenance crew is very timely and respectful. During the height of the pandemic they adjusted very well to the CDC guidelines, and sent constant updates for changes. It’s very obvious that the staff care about each member of this community. Do not live here
March 19, 2021These are the absolute worst managed apartments I have ever lived in. Management does not respond to emails, and there are constantly people partying in the parking lots. When reporting noise issues to management they do nothing to help the residents instead telling you to record your neighbors for proof of noise issues. Or they say to just call security, which you’ll have to do at least 3-4 times a week and sometimes more than once in the same night. I also had my car towed by security for ...having my parking permit in my back windshield and not the front, they even took a picture of my car that clearly displayed my valid permit.Property Manager Responded

Pebble Creek is Amazing
December 2, 2020I love it here. I just renewed my lease after a year. Friendly staff and my neighbors the best. Love love love my apartment it is so spacious and affordable. Really Great Complex
July 3, 2020This is a very nice place to live. It is family orientated and feels safe, especially with the gated lots. The management is very friendly, and the apartment I have is very spacious with a huge closet. It's also close to UT and would be a nice and quiet environment to study in. Pebble Creek is Home...
February 19, 2020I would like to take this opportunity to recognize Pebble Creek Apartments in Austin, TX and the outstanding efforts of their staff. I became a resident at Pebble Creek in July 2018. From the moment of my first visit, it became quickly apparent that this was more than a mere apartment complex; this was going to be home. The leasing office is warm, cozy, and inviting, always beckoning with comfortable furniture, a professional appearance, coffee and snacks, well-lit, and a nice view upon the ...inner complex near the pool. I first met Karina, one of the office managers, who was polished and prepared to cheerfully and fully answer any and all of my questions I had about my new home. The apartment is conveniently located off of I-35 North Frontage, Rundberg, and North Plaza in north Austin. The leasing fees are very reasonable considering rental costs in the Austin area, yet they sacrifice no amenity to make you feel welcome. Pebble Creek takes security very seriously, and in addition to a gated community and on-site courtesy officer, it is well-lit with an open layout, and it truly has the feel of a neighborhood with the apartments fostering appropriate interaction, while allowing privacy for those that require it. The pool area is spacious and clean, with ample room for lounging or spending time entertaining guests by the available grills. There is also a clubhouse that can be reserved by apartment residents for parties and other special events. There is an open play space for the younger residents of the community. And the grounds are impeccably manicured and are adorned with flowers and trees that ripen and bloom with the seasons. But I would also like to recognize the staff personally. Nowhere in my twenty-plus years of apartment living have I engaged with more friendly, selfless, and motivated staff to ensure your comfort and happiness. I mentioned Karina above, but I would also like to recognize Isabel and Miranda, and in fact the entire management team – all of whom always welcome your visit like you are an old friend. If your apartment requires maintenance they quickly address it and ensure your matter is resolved with promptness and care. The maintenance staff too, is professional, courteous, and truly cares about the community, from those who fix air conditioners, or those who work by manicuring the grounds and ensuring the complex is as spotless as can be.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com

Pebble Creek
September 8, 2015At the end of October 2015, I will have dwelled at this residence for 3 years. My time here was well spent with minimal complaint. Though every year I have been here they raised my rent. By the 3rd year it was raised to a total of 100$ more. The price is moderate, and the rooms fairly sizable for its price. There isn't washer or dryer hookups in the apartments but there are two small laundromat buildings in the complex. They each have about 10 washers and dryers each. Some have broken down a lot ...but that is to be expected with machines and the maintenance staff are fairly quick to repair anything that needs attending. The office staff is friendly and when I moved in there was new management(who is still here). Since I moved in, there have been changes for the better. They tore down a playground and put up a nice new one. New light posts around, new picnic areas, new bbq pits, new volleyball and tennis courts. The complex is really close to one of the main expressways in Austin, I35. So a quick hop on and you can be downtown in 15 minutes. There are two pools and two hot tubs in each. I do wish they had stricter rules about having children in the hot tubs for sanitary purposes. A bit more upkeep would be desired in this area. There is a great amount of greenery and trees in the complex so it's not hard on the eyes. Overall, I'd like to say it's a good starter apartment if you just moved to Austin or want to be near the excitement but don't want to pay up the nose for downtown prices.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
The Cold Shoulder
November 30, 2013I never thought that after writing a first letter that a second letter could even be fathomable, yet here we are. I've never carefully deliberated the intense importance of hot water. I suppose the feeling of hot water entitlement comes from "first world problems", as the kids say these days, or perhaps it's the $69 paid monthly for my outrageously high water bill. However I digress, the issue at hand is for at least two months I have had less that sub-par hot water. The first month summer had ...not yet left us and cooler showers were important therefore, the water temperature little ill effect. As the winter season made it's debut my water temperature did not increase. Monday November 11th I called and put a work order in regarding my hot water's temperature as well as the water pressure. A week went by and I patiently waited for either results or a phone call with some kind of explanation. Much to my dismay there was no change. Monday November 18th I decided to call again, I put in a second work order pertaining to my water's lack of temperature and pressure. By now the weather was changing, for a week it was thirty degrees and rainy out. I was chilled to the bone and my one wish was a hot and steamy shower to wash away the days hard work. As I approached the apartment I noticed the hot tub was on, steam rose up off the water in signaled plumes of warmth. Seeing this excited me perhaps my hot water would be in working order. I rushed in only to be loyally greeted with less than lukewarm water. I had to boil water and draw myself a bath as if this were 18th century England. Monday November 25th, the week of thanksgiving, I called and this time I spoke with the apartment manager. He informed me that the apartment complex was on a boiler system and there seemed to be an issue with the boiler. He assured me that although they had to wait for the part to come in, they would try and and turn the hot water up so that maybe the water would be warm enough to shower in. Taking him at his word I got off the phone feeling relieved that something would finally be done about this dilemma. I rushed home from work excited about the hot shower or at least warm shower I would now be able to take, I turned on my water in anticipation, only to be yet again greeted by barely lukewarm water that wouldn't even fog the mirror. Now I was getting frustrated with the entire situation. Tuesday November 26th I decided to go into the office, thinking if they see my face maybe something would be different. I got to meet with the apartment manager in person. He told me that the boiler would be fixed by the end of the day. The end of the day came and went and still no change. My faith in the apartment manager is now measured by the heat of my water, less than lukewarm. I called the Wednesday before Thanksgiving this time the girl that answers the phone says, "The boiler people are here right now and it will be fixed by the end of the day." I am beginning to wonder are they all just lying to me or do they honestly have no clue what is going on? I felt they kept telling me the answer they believed I wanted to hear. In reality I just want to know the truth so that I can plan accordingly. The water was not fixed by by the end of the day meaning the water would not be fixed by Thanksgiving. I spoke with a few of my neighbors and they were experiencing the same hot water issue. There was even a woman who lived two buildings away, that said she went to a friends house to shower. Friday November 29th not fixed. Saturday November 30th comes, disheartened, I call and ask when the water will be fixed and request she not say by the end of the day, at this point I know that answer is complete fabrication. She took my contact information and said she would call me back with facts about the water. I knew she'd never call and of course she never did. The lack of communication between management and renter sends me spiraling into a sea of what-ifs. What if this is because I owe the apartments $2.40? My plan was to include the small amount with next months rent, taking into account a money order would be nearly half the price I thought it best to just include it then. What if she knew the next day was Sunday and the office would be closed, the employees would be deaf to our problems. What if they don't care about us at all, and my quest for hot water was nothing more than paperwork on a desk instead of the lives of real people. When I went to the Belco Equities website I saw your mission statements; Providing the best living experience, value relationships, foster loyalty or my personal favorite maintain excellent reputations. It seems like Pebble Creek has detached from these values and gone a way of its own. Maybe the Pebble Creek crew has never seen your website, and they are completely unaware of your value for basic human amenities? Or maybe those slogans are only available to a certain class. Perhaps Pebble Creek, despite what renters pay here, have been rated expendable when it comes to company values. As long as you make profit do you care how we live here? Let's make a deal because I've already paid rent for November, using December's rent I will pay for all of the days I received satisfactory hot water.
