November 23, 2021Make sure your life is 100% figured out and perfect before moving here. God forbid you have a rough patch, they give you 2 months before your lease is up to say you cant sign before throwing you and your baby out in the street. Heartless, and no empathy during a pandemic when everyone is struggling. Have fun sleeping in your warm beds Salem Village team and I wish my life was as perfect as yours.Property Manager Responded

Maintenance is terrible & moldy units
March 19, 2021Mold and water damage maintenance comes in doesn’t fix the issues properly constant run around. Dated & chipping paint.The unit is musty with leaks from ceiling and they put carpet in the bathroom. Lots of stray cats. Limited storage in unit.pool has kids in it all day no designated time for adults like most neighborhoods that offer at least an hour. Overall not worth the money or risking your healthProperty Manager Responded

Bad Maintenance.
November 24, 2018I have been living here since October, Apartment is nice, neighborhood is nice...but the maintenance here is very bad. I have had a leaky ceiling in my bedroom, and put in a request to have it fixed almost a month ago, and so far nothing has been done. Not only this, but I cannot get a straight answer from anyone as to when this might be fixed. Every time it rains, the leak gets worse. I have called and emailed at least 12 times, put in two different maintenance requests. Still no response. ...VERY disappointed with this.Property Manager Responded

July 5, 2018I've been here about two years in VILLAGE II, I've been a faithful renter and loyal to the community. I've had nothing but issues since moving in. I have to say, I am very unhappy. I have had numerous problems since moving in 2016. The first few problems were when I first moved in. Someone defecated in the toilet and left it, so the first time I opened my toilet seat, there it was, looking back at me. Then the first load of laundry I did was set to be dried, I noticed large spots all over some ...garments. Then what I could dry, there was 2 handfuls of lint in the lint trap before I could even start. There has been pink, black and brown sludge that leaks out of the side of my tub occassionally, no matter how much i scrub or clean it. My tub was not put completely together when I moved in and I even had water spraying out of my tub and wouldn't turn off at some point. There's many more issues but the ones I am most upset about involve water and wet carpets and huge dehumidifiers that are loud. My issue is with the water here, it constantly goes from hot, to cold, to scorching. My bathroom has had water spray everywhere because something randomly popped off my toilet at 8am. I have had maintenence in my apartment the past two days because my sink keeps overflowing randomly. And i'm stuck with large dehumidifiers making it extremely hard to sleep or enjoy my home because they are so loud. I've reached out to maintenance and corporate to possibly switch apartments but to no avail. I've evern reached out to the corporate team. I don't feel like they care about me. If they fixed these issues and made things right, I would totally change my tune and review but as of now, I am unhappy and disgruntled. Don't waste your money.Property Manager Responded
