October 18, 2023If you were looking to pay over $500 in just heating bills, then this is your place. If you are looking for incompetent staff, this is also your place. If you were looking for things to be replaced in a timely manner. This is not your place. If you’re looking for your roof to constantly leak and have an ongoing problems, this is your place. If you would like your car to be broken into or parts be stolen from your vehicle on site, this is your place. Please enjoy the inconsistently, working ...security cameras that cannot view the entire property and terrible lighting in the parking lot. Enjoy!Property Manager Responded

Poor Property Management
August 28, 2020The new property management company (purchased in 2018) has been very dissapointing. They recently raised prices significantly at a time when maintenance is spotty, there have been problems with ants, and access to ammenities is limited due to COVID-19. Solid Building, Poor Property Management
July 5, 2020Overall, the building is in decent shape with good amenities and lots of parking. However, pest control, plumbing, and other maintenance issues were recurring in my unit and other units. Although the onsite manager is pleasant, the property management company is one of the worst I have experienced. You can find better options in the area.Reseña de Apartments.com
A Very Nice Place to Live
December 15, 2018I have lived here for over two years now, and I love it. I am retired so I am here most of the time. Silk Factory is very diverse, clean, friendly, quiet and most of all, I feel very safe living here. Management staff is very friendly and professional. They have events that bring people together here, such as a Book Club, Christmas dinner, Taco nite, Wing nite, etc. If I have any issues, they are fixed ASAP. My neighbors are all very friendly and helpful. I lived in a house for 30 years and ...before I chose this place, I visited others....Silk Factory was/is the best. This is my home and I hope to continue to live here for many, many years. Is this place perfect...no, but what place is, on this planet.Property Manager Responded

Terrible Management, NOT Worth it
October 5, 2018Paradise Management is absolutely terrible. When i moved here it was managed by a different company then purchased by Paradise Management. The difference is astounding. Where do I begin.... The community events are terrible now, where we used to have great interesting get togethers, now its 'Donut Day' aka donuts in their office between 9:30-4 - I'm already at work at that time and I envy your lackadaisical work hours, so glad you're using the community fund to feed yourself...Or the emails ...they send - its impressive how unprofessional these people are with unnecessary snarky comments and strikingly inappropriate timing. For example: Since taking over, this management cant seem to get the call box to work, a call box that had no issues for years. Yet in the same email they notified it is still offline (their fault) they felt it was appropriate to chastise the residence for smoking too close to the building? Nice guys. The leasing office was run previously by 1 or max 2 knowledgeable and friendly people - but now its 3 people on Facebook or their phones who are inconvenienced by your presence. Previous management knew every resident by name, I've had to reintroduced myself 4 times to the same woman who just cant give me the lowest level of respect of learning my name - trust me we've had multiple lengthy conversations but again this management does not have the decency to understand this is your home while you're a resident. Have anything broken in your apartment? Too bad, they will 'try' to fix it and fail over and over. The apartments are all different and some are nicer then others but I cant stress enough that its not worth dealing with this management. You will want to bang your head against the wall dealing with these folks ineptitude. Maybe you think on move in 'hey they aren't so bad' but as soon as something goes wrong, which is inevitable, you will get to face their utter incompetence and indifference towards their work Look at the reviews from the last 5ish months, clearly fake.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com

Feels like home

February 4, 2016We love living at the Silk Factory! The apartments are gorgeous and full of amenities for comfortable living. In addition, the public areas have all recently undergone renovations and are very welcoming. The office staff and superintendent are all so friendly and helpful. Cha-cha-cha-changes
August 12, 2015The building recently was bought out and is undergoing full renovations everywhere. New paint, flooring, cabinets, and the patio is getting a fire pit and grill stations. Living here has be nice - it is so convenient to all the area shopping, and there is every shop you could ever want. It's got a cute towny vibe and it's a few blocks from the train if you need it. It's got backup generators, so the power never goes out, trash and snow removal, and a huge parking lot. The only downside is that ...with the new renovation comes a new price tag- and granted, it is still on par with other local places, but lacking one major amenity, a pool.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
Under new management
August 12, 2015It was very nice for the area before, but new owners are adding tons of perks. They are refreshing the whole building: new paint, flooring, cabinets in common areas and apartments. Patio is getting a fire pit and grills. As for how it's been to live in- it's been great. We have the modern, clean look we want at a reasonable price.
