      Multiple instances of car breaking and entering and theft reported to the police from Sofi’s parking lot. The office refuses to get external security cameras despite this known issue.

      - management is spread thin - poorly constructed cabinetry and doorframes, and old, low quality appliances - no sound proofing and noise from train and neighbors - no guest "buzz-in" option - few guest parking spots - security issues (squatters, trash pickers, external doors that don't shut) - poor trash maintenance - improper building maintenance (continued leaks and electrical issues)

      great location. Needs some updating though for the rent price - painting exterior, back yard could use some privacy fencing between homes, dumpster needs to be kept clean and fix the fence - real eye sore.

      I think this is a terrific community. The only reason I would not recommend it is the trash/recycling process. Had I known that there were no trash shoots in the buildings and that the trash and recycling had to be carried over to the one compactor/dumpster behind another building, I might not have selected this community. Fortunately, I'm in Bldg 3 so I'm not too far and knowing what I know now, I'm just glad I'm not in buildings 1 or 2 (or even in a unit in Building 5 near the dumpster). I hope ...
      management is considering an alternative to the current trash process. Otherwise, I've been very happy with SofiSalem.
