Misleading!!!!!!
December 8, 2024I took residence back in 2017 when things were in fact taken cared of. Start of 2020 it started down hill. Roaches are not the only thing you'll notice as an issue, but lack of leadership role in the office staff as most are not competent nor educated enough in their field to care of day to day operations. Their laundry facilities are never cleaned nor working so it's a first come first serve operation. If your lucky enough to have connections, it's in your closet where your clothes would ...otherwise be. The pools are usually green because they have issues with the filters that they put a band aid fix on and that is even during the summer months. If you have issues to which you may need assistance with tenants or problems. The phone number they provide for security doesn't work at all, it's disconnected and had been forever.Property Manager Responded

I would not move here if I were you!
February 17, 2022I been here only one year and was ready to move immediately afterwards. They never fix anything. The current assistant manager has dogs and never pick up their waste. The entire time I been here, I've been putting in work orders for them to fix a fan that's been broken since I've moved here. The dishwasher never been functionable. I was never shown the apartment prior to approval, it was half painted and missing painting on the base coloring. Closet doors were missing or not functioning. The list ...could go on and on. There's been shootings in the area consistently and robberies and thefts inside the complex itself. Save your time and energy people please!Property Manager Responded

Bait and Switch
January 31, 2019I was shown a model unit that was deemed the upgraded model. I was told I could not view my actual unit as it was not ready to show and potential residents could not view units unless they were ready to show. I moved in on a Saturday so I was asked to sign my lease prior to getting my keys. When drove around and starting unloading furniture I know immediately it was not the same unit. I went and informed the leasing agent of the mix up and was told she could not do anything and that I would ...have to speak to the manager. I walked my unit with both the manager and the assistant manger and they aggreged that there had been a mistake. I overheard them talking and the manger thinks units were being upgraded as tenants moved out and that the only upgrade mine had received was the counters. This is why she aggreged to make a laundry list of modifications ( dining room light fixtures, kitchen stove, adding stone backsplash, faulty dishwasher, bathroom vanity exchange, replacement of floors through out the unit, replacing boiler rusted boiler room door, installing washer and dryer connections, to make my unit mirror the one I had been shown. Well it is 01/31/19 and I moved in 11/27/18 and my unit is still not done. There is also no concrete date as to when they would be done. DO NOT LEASE here, none of what I was told came to fruition. Not only am I unhappy with my unit but also the young adults smoking pot on the playground, constant fighting of various neighbors, and the unsightly on site auto mechanics who run extension cords to service various vehicles in the parking lot.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com

December 19, 2017The Staff at Sunset Shadows are excellent: Andrew the leasing agent is excellent and really goes out of his way to help you and make you feel at home and is always polite and courteous. Ashton the manager is great and always takes care of any situation and is just wonderful person. Kelly the assistant manager is excellent too and very helpful. Terrible Apts DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!
February 9, 2016The apartments are too close together and the apt walls are so thin! Apartment residents are very loud! All of the apts are surrounded by the parking lots so you always hear loud music and car horns going off all the time. Service requests always take a long time. I can not wait until my lease up. Sunset Shadows apartment
September 11, 2015I have been living in Sunset Shadows apartment complex for 7yrs.I have no problem with management, they are helpful and respectful. Maintenance and repair are normally the same week you report it. I can go to the leasing office for computer service and coffee. Courtesy of them. I can't complaint about serves because they are a great staff. Accetable--Nothing to write home about
August 19, 2015The apartments are decent, but nothing amazing. I have the upgraded option with granite counter tops, new cabinets and some finishes that are upgraded. The upgrades are very nice and I definitely recommend them over the non-upgraded units I viewed. Pros: Affordable, Small Complex, Playground is decent, Tennis Courts are okay, have washer/dryer hookups, the balcony is a decent size, overall the complex isn't noisy most of the time Cons: Don't be near the pool--all night noisy pool parties are ...common. The pools also didn't "open" until well into July and were green until then. Overall I would have had a 4 until we started having a huge roach problem. Like HUGE. I'm compulsively clean but we started seeing roaches often. The sprayers come on Monday and you can have your unit put on the list, but it hasn't changed anything.
