High Utilities, thin walls, bad maintenance
March 7, 2020Been here 3 years and counting. Never had a electricity bill under $200. Maintenance is horrid if they even show up. Had roof issues that lasted over 2 years, leaks water damage, etc. You can smell every joint your neighbor smokes and hear every argument, conversation, and childs footstep. This will be our last year here. Our hatred of moving is the only thing that kept us here.Property Manager Responded

PLEASE READ!!!
October 3, 2019I strongly advise you never to lease with these apartments ever in life. Over time I've lived in several apartments and by far these were the worse. Please do NOT get influenced by the unique floor plans, garages and upgraded kitchens. 1. These apartments were built without NO INSULATION inside the walls. You can hear everything from your neighbors such as footsteps, running, toilet flushing (sounds like a waterfall pouring thru the walls), showering, closing cabinets, conversations (word from ...word), coughing, sneezing, puking. I felt like a prisoner in my own home with no privacy at all and surrounded by neighbors with no respect for others living around them. 2. All of the one bedroom apartments are located on the first floor. Expect to have two garages below your unit. One garage will be yours and the other belongs to your upstairs neighbor which is below your bedroom.......poorly constructed 3. The A/C unit is too small for the apartment!!! The temperature inside always feel much like outside temp. Expect to have a high electricity bill trying to keep your apt warm in the winter or cool in the summer. The front part of the apartment (living/diner room) and back half (bedroom) will always have opposite temperatures, it's impossible to cool or heat the ENTIRE apartment. 4. You have to go through the city of Bedford for your water services. In my opinion, the water bill was pretty steep for a one bedroom when I did not own a washer/dryer and barely used my dishwasher. Later discovered I was being charged for trash by both the city and the apartments. When I asked the leasing office about the double billing I was told to ask the city......never resolved. 5. Be aware they will try to cheat you out of your deposit. I was charged $25 for carpet cleaning and $90 for general cleaning. The lady in the office told me unless I had the apt professionally clean, all residents are charged these standard fees. Huh.....where does it state that in the lease. Why wasn't that explained to during the walk thru when I was turning in my keys insteading of telling me everything looked good. I wasted time cleaning my apt spotless to be told a month after moving out it didn't matter unless it was professionally cleaned........such scammers. Never in my life have I publicly left a review online but this was a MUST. There's so much more I can share but I think I've said enough already. Do yourself a favor and avoid this excruciating headache. STAY AWAY!!Property Manager Responded

We take your feedback very seriously and will work to remedy the concerns shared where we can. Cleaning is not a mandatory fee upon move out, as stated in the lease, the apartment must be left in the same condition it was in upon move in. Love the layout
October 26, 2017I've lived at the complex for over a year and a half now and I love my apartment. I guess I'm lucky because my neighbors are quiet. I rarely call the office but the last few times i had maintenance issues they came out the same or next day. I recently just met some of the new leasing agent and they were very friendly.
