Great place to live!
October 12, 2021Clean, quiet and peaceful. That has been my experience. 24 hour gym, kids play place, 2 pools and 2 spas. Pools are heated in winter. Outside the property gates there are a few quiet streets that are perfect for walking with great views. I plan to stay here for a long time to come.Property Manager Responded

Leasing process took almost an entire month
May 31, 2019Terrible experience. It took almost a month for my application to be processed. I toured aparmtents on 4/26/19. I came in with my proof of income and paid the apartment hold fee of 100 dollars the same day. I was told to be ready to bring the rest of the deposit if approved. First, I had to contact them a week after the application to follow up. They claimed to be short staffed as the excuse. Next, they said they couldn’t verify my employment. Finally, almost one month after I applied, another ...leasing agent, Elizabeth, called me at noon on the day of the prospective move in (5/24/19) to tell me I was officially approved to move in and that they were expecting me that same day. She tried to tell me unless they called to tell me the application was declined, I should just assume I was approved and be ready to move in. Even though an agent previously claimed my application was stalled because they couldn’t verify employment and rental history and couldn’t proceed until they did, Elizabeth then said they had no trouble verifying any of it and that she had personally verified others with my employer before and that there was no problem then either. How is it normal to notify someone of approval for the first time at noon on their prospective move in date on a weekday? They blamed all the miscommunication on the first agent I worked with, Adrienne, and said she was just a temp. Elizabeth asked me to come and tour the apartment I was going to have initially and see the location of another. Both were renovated. She kept saying she can work something out with the manager to make the situation right. She then calls me back the next business day like she never said that and offers two different apartments that she says may or may not be renovated. If just trying to lease was that disorganized and chaotic, I can’t imagine what living there is like. The agent trying to convince me what happened was standard and that it’s customary not to notify people that they have been approved, only declined, was a bit less than honest. I have rented many apartments as a travel therapist and know this is not true. It was a beautiful property. The agents were friendly while I was there in person. However, my leasing experience was a whole hot mess. If I did my job like they do, I’d be fired.I would never live there under any circumstances.Property Manager Responded

Terrible. No service
October 6, 2018Im 50 years old and expected a nice place to stay while im in the valley, but what i got was a whole lot of bogus. My key for the pool doesnt even fit the lock, i found live cockroaches in the kitchen, restroom, aswell as my bedroom. The ground is lumpy and uneven. Parking is very hard to find. They gave me a garage key but it doent open my garage. I called all this in but no one as even came to apologize for the hassle ive been going threw. The person on the phone was very rude instructing me ...to "fix it" my self saying it was an "easy fix". Very disappointed.Property Manager Responded

We urge you to please call the office as soon as possible to speak with our community manager. In the meantime, pest control treats the property every Thursday morning, and residents can request this service by calling or stopping by the leasing office. Also, as is the standard of most apartment communities, none of our units come with privacy locks on the doors except for the bathroom doors. Totally a NIGHTMARE..Beware in the Summer
July 19, 2018First of all, the management that are two or three ladies are totally lazies-A. These ladies they don't care about you or the residents, and of course NONE, zero customer service. BE CAREFUL, they have in bad condition their A/C's and Heater's, so in summer or in a cold winter is a totally NIGHTMARE. If you report an issue with your A/C or Heater, believe me is better to wait in a hotel room, because you can't see the repair or maintenance guy in weeks. Im sorry it was my BAD experience. Is very ...easy to get a condo or apartment here, BECAUSE, NO BODY WANT TO STAY FOR LONG TERM in this complex. Totally NOT RECOMMENDED. Poor experience with leasing office staff
May 15, 2018I can not rate living here, only my interactions with the leasing office staff. I had difficulty getting in touch with the leasing office staff to get more information. I left my name and number but never heard back. Although, they have an online rental application and the website encourages you to apply online, the office staff told me they don’t process applications from online unless you come to the property first as they can not “take your word” for your information. I have leased several ...apartments in my line of work and have frequently completed the entire leasing process online and via email. Frequently, the first time I visit a complex in person is the day I pick up my keys. If this is policy, please remove the “apply now” from your website and mention that your leasing process must be initiated onsite. I was never contacted for any follow up even though they definitely processed the online application fee. I rented from another complex in the area who was so much more helpful from start to finish. Their process was streamlined. Everything was completed in less than one week. If my interaction is typical,they are missing out on many applicants who might be from outside California and can not visit every complex prior to a move. I know the agent said they get a lot of applicants. Maybe this is why they are so flippant with online inquiries. It’s a shame because this looks like a beautiful complex and would have been my first choice except I was very put off by my initial interaction with the leasing agents here. I would give 0 stars if possible. The Enclave, please update your leasing practices at your Palm Desert location or re-train your staff. November 1, 2017I was very happy to share my wonderful experience of renting at The Enclave. It can be a very challenging experience to find a new home after owing your own home for more than thirty years. I went to many websites and traveled to many apartment communities trying to narrow down my search to the top three contenders.At the Enclave they stood out among all the others. From my very first phone call, they were very inviting and anxious to show me all that they had to offer. The entire staff was ...warm and inviting. They cared about my concerns, my needs and my wants. They explained my opinions and walked me through the procedure. It is obvious that they care about the property by the product they show you. Rude Staff
October 15, 2017We went to get information about the apartments and the staff was rude. One of the ladies that works there never made eye contact with us. The fist thing she told us when we arrive was: "I can't help you or show you the apartments because my coworker is not here", so we decide not to sit down because of that introduction. We thought that she wasn't the person on charge and decide to wait standing up. Two minutes later she notice that we are waiting for somebody else and said: " Ooooo sit down ...I'll take your information and when she's back i'll give you the tour. While she gave us all the info, she spend half of the time yawing, cheeking her phone and responding to our questions with a really bad attitude. Finally her coworker came back and when for a mini tour. She didn't show us any of the amenities. While we were at the office we made a bunch of questions about the garage and amenities and she told us that she will covered those on the tour, but only a few words came out of her mouth. The place is beautiful but their staff is not at all welcoming. I felt that she wasn't happy to receive a potential client. Don't live here
September 2, 2017The place sucks. Maintenance is slow to show up and pretend to try to fix what's wrong or broken. The management sucks, I put down a 100$ deposit and they just gave the apartment I had the deposit for away to someone else. Still I waa dumb enough to give them a second chance... I ignored the bad reviews on this place, don't be a fool like me and ignore them too. The people in management act like it's a problem to answer questions or actually have to do there job. It could be a nice place to ...live if it wasn't ran by such a horrible management staff. Go somewhere else. Also you're paying for a gated complex but the gates don't work, one gate has been left open for over 2 months now.Property Manager Responded

Nice Condo Complex but you not get you deposit back!
September 7, 2016My name is Anthony Merck, I rented Apartment J1015 (2 bedroom Lombard plan) from April 2015 to May of 2016. When I moved in the carpet was new and there were a few minor leftover nicks, dings and marks on the walls but other than that it was very clean! The entire time I lived there my family and I virtually never wore shoes in the apartment and my wife was fastidious at keeping the apartment spotless. When we gave the required notice that we were moving out we were told we would be responsible ...for repainting, cleaning and shampooing the carpet and those charges would be deducted from our deposit. I reviewed the lease and item 43 - MOVE-OUT OBLIGATIONS states "(d) deliver the Residence in the same condition as received, reasonable wear and tear excepted;". There is nothing in the lease that states we are responsible for paying a cleaning fee, shampooing the carpet or any painting. When the individual arrived to do the final walk through after we had removed all our furnishings he could not believe how clean the apartment was. My lovely wife kept the carpet so clean that you could not even tell where the furniture was. Still, about 3 weeks after moving out we received a letter and of the $500.00 deposit we received a refund of $220.91. The deduction of $279.09 was for painting, cleaning, shampooing the carpet and left over utilities (water, trash and sewer) most of which I had already paid except for one month which should have been about $55.00 not the $158.45 in their accounting! I am in my 60s and old school - I believe in taking exceptional care of my apartment and things and I can honestly say I have never not received my entire deposit back after renting an apartment anywhere. Before leaving the apartment we took over 300 photos to back up our claim about the cleanliness of the apartment and it is safe to say it was move in ready. At the beginning of July 2016 I sent a letter to Cannon Management detailing the above with copies of my payments for rent and utilities, the lease agreement and requested a refund. No answer! Today (September 7th, 2016) I called Cannon Management yet again but the individual responsible for the Enclave is still unavailable to take my call. Great Location
August 27, 2015This apartment complex was originally set up to be condos, so the apartments are of great size. I looked at a couple of layouts and decided to choose a good two-bedroom. The older woman at the leasing office was very helpful and she was kept our best interests in mind. The manager was a little direct to her employees, but you could tell that she takes pride in the complex. The apartment complex is right next to Costco and Walmart, so very convenient. Plus the mall is just a 10 min drive ...away. The apartment we have has a little problem with the air conditioning, as one room stays warm while the rest of the apartment is cold. The cold water takes a while to start in the kitchen. Overall though, these are just little things, but I thought to put it in here anyways fyi.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
Management is as bad as they say
August 25, 2015My girlfriend lives here so I spend a decent amount of time at the property and listening to her complain about the incompetence of the staff. The maintenance people are great, but they cannot do their jobs or fill repair orders when management doesn't even give them the orders although they scheduled a time with my girlfriend for repairs to be done. The management, especially Lisa, are generally unfriendly and incompetent. Lisa's desk is covered with fast food wrappers over paperwork that ...doesn't get done. There is a really high turnover rate for staff in the leasing office, which makes interacting hard and also shows the culture of the office. Also, pretty much every time somebody moves out, which is quite often, the carpet is pulled and replaced immediately after, regardless of how long the people lived there and wether or not there was a pet there. My last landlord was a felon and I'd rather rent from him again than move in here, we're just waiting for her lease to come up.
