      This is my 2nd apt I've rented out frm you guys (Terrace Oaks-1st apt) & I have found that you are the best landlords in Lake Bluff-I loved living with you guys. Very helpful, all of my maintenance issues were immediately addressed, your accommodations to me have been great! Always so patient & kind. I recommend everyone to reside here. Come 1, come ALL!!!       this place was my first apartment and it was absolutely perfect for my wife and i. due to it being my first apartment, i had a lot of dumb first-apartment questions that i always pestered management with and she always got right back to me within an hour or two, always had excellent encounters with my neighbors, not a single sour moment comes to mind. in terms of being in the navy, this complex is less than 10 minutes away from Great Lakes, and the commute was more than easy to do every single ...
      day. if you are a junior sailor this place is seriously perfect for you. you will be able to collect excess BAH due to the low rent, and theres plenty of job opportunities for your significant other nearby. i cannot recommend this complex enough, i have more than enjoyed my time here

      Please Don't move into this apartment. The management don't tell you everything straightly and talk to you only on emails. They asked me to submit application with the application fee. They didn't even give me few hours to decide. First they asked me to submit the fee as early as possible, when I did they said some body came over you so you're on the second priority (this was within 1 day). Later I kept on taking follow ups and finally they decided to show an apartment. Literally, they showed me ...
      a dirty apartment and asked me to tell our final decision within 1 hour if we want to proceed or not. I asked them to first clean the apartment first properly and then we will move in. They said, no we need to tell them in one hour as the market is hot and people are waiting to get in. They literally wanted us to sign the lease without even looking how the final apartment looked like. How is that even a fair deal? The rest room sink was scratchy and the tenants before had big locks in the apartment, still not sure why. Please beware of this apartment.

        We are sorry you had a bad experience with the application process. You were shown a unit that was under construction and we let you know that was the case. We let you know the items that would be fixed and replaced. When an application comes in we require an application fee to offset the costs of verifying the residents so an application cannot be run before that amount is paid. You applied and were approved, however, you decided you wanted to wait two weeks to view the unit again. I let you know that our policy is to hold an approved application for 24 hours while a decision is made and that I could hold the unit for 24 hours. When that time passed we had to move on to the next qualified applicant. I did let you know every step of the way by email; however, I would have been happy to talk with you over the phone also. The market has been very tense and we are sorry that you had a bad experience, that would never be our intention! Unfortunately, we cannot hold units for two weeks ...
        while a decision to lease is made when there are people who need housing right away.
