Also, I couldn't even use the laundry room at night because there was always a grown man sitting in the dark in the laundry room with a small child, so I ended up calling the police after it kept happening. They haven't updated the pictures of the property in probably 20 years. They should take some of that rent money and put it towards renovations and up-keeping, which they don't do at all. That being said, I had a discussion with the property manager and asked her if I could breach the lease. She said that was fine and that I could get out of the lease due to all the issues I was having; the only thing I needed to do was provide her with a written letter that I was moving. SO I PACKED ALL MY STUFF UP IN TWO TRUCKS, HAD THE APARTMENT COMPLETELY EMPTY, then when I took her the written letter, she said that the corporate office would not let me breach the lease. She did not even attempt to call me , knock on my door, or anything to let me know that she could not keep her word. I wouldn't have packed my stuff if she hadn't told me I could break the lease. Then they report it to collections agency. Bottom line is this whole place needs torn to the ground and completely rebuild.
