April 30, 2024I've been living here at treetop for 6 years now. I have lived in 3 different units over the years & I have been satisfied at all 3. There's many things I love about living here but the main 3 would have to be the vibes, the office staff & maintenance. This place has a true homey vibe that is extremely comfortable. The office staff have always been nothing less than AMAZING. They are extremely understanding, helpful & on top of everything. Amanda, Brittany & now Cindy are just the best. ...Maintenance never slacks when it comes to taking care of issues. They're always on it ASAP. Emil & his crew manage to get stuff done quickly & efficiently. I do not see myself leaving here until I purchase a home. I truly love it here. So does my fur baby Phoebe.Property Manager Responded

A hidden gem in the heart of JoCo
June 15, 2022I didn’t know affordable apartments could offer the luxurious vibes before moving into Treetop. My experience from the go has always been one of envy amongst my friends when discussing living situations. Amanda, the property manager, has attentively answered every call, question, concern, and issue with speed I didn’t even realized existed in the service industry anymore. Brittany, the assistant property manager, always has the sweetest and kindest demeanor. She never passes up a chance to ...give a friendly hello if she sees you on the property and makes it a priority to know your name; to know her residents. Emil and Casey, the maintenance team, are always professional, courteous, transparent, and honest. They answer calls promptly and fix whatever issues might arise. And if they don’t know how, they find someone who does and will fix it right. The apartments are newly renovated and a blank canvas for you to make it your own. They are spacious with HUGE bedrooms and clean breezeways. There’s a fitness center and a giant pool that has a depth of 8 ft. I have never resigned a lease so fast in my life. Move here. December 11, 2019You get what you pay for!! I couldn’t ask for a better place to live I’ve been living here for about 3 years and counting !! The staff are PHENOMENAL!!! Amanda and Brittany are freaking AMAZING !!! The maintenance guy’s are SUPER HERO’S !!! They get it done in a timely fashion! When it’s urgent they are urgent!! Thank you for everything you do !!! Compassionate staff
December 6, 2019The staff has been so helpful to me and my family I recently had heart surgery and was disabled for a while the staff reached out to me in a caring and compassionate way to make sure my stay here was comfortable I was even informed by management of community resources that I did not know I had now but I am in recovery I have a new appreciation for Treetop restaurant is like family now and I will be eternally grateful for all their help I would recommend this place to anyone young or oldProperty Manager Responded

December 3, 2019The main reason why I loved and miss living here is the staff. I have never met any nicer and more caring staff than the folks at Treetop. My apartment was also great. Very spacious. The resident activities are fun..especially the ones in the summer. I loved how close I was to grocery stores and the mall. If I ever get a chance to move back to Overland Park. I call this place HOME
December 3, 2019I have lived here since 2015. Yes there was a previous management team and they are ALL gone. The whole team, management & maintenance are truly what makes this a home. If I have ever had any issues they are ALWAYS right on it, and make sure I am happy with their results. I have moved this year to a bigger apartment and it went smooth. I honestly do not know where else you can go that any issues are handled as fast & efficient as here. The location is awesome, it is safe, there is a ...clubhouse/work out area, tanning bed, swimming pool and is both kid & pet friendly. The rent is VERY reasonable too!Property Manager Responded

Cockroaches & One Million and One Black Crickets
November 7, 2019I was going to wait until I left a review, but tonight the time has come. I have reached my breaking point. We moved into our apartment at the beginning of September. First thing that just absolutely kills me and makes me sick, as someone who freaking hates bugs, is the fact that we had a GIANT BLACK CRICKET INFESTATION for the first few weeks of living here. On occasion, I still find them in our bedroom hanging out on my freaking pillows. You’d think with the cold weather we’ve been having they ...would all be dead or go away to wherever it is that they go during the fall/winter. It wasn’t until we had to cover an outlet in our living room that they stopped hopping out of the walls. We actually saw them STREAMING. OUT OF THE WALLS. Nightmarish. Oh, and I can’t forget the never ending streams of cockroaches that we find on the daily. Literally, five minutes ago we found three giant cockroaches chilling in the kitchen on the floor. We have had someone, almost weekly, come to spray for bugs. Whatever it is that they’re using is clearly not working. I am so sad and so disappointed because I had high hopes for this complex. There are so many good reviews and even the bad ones don’t mention bugs. Maybe we just happened to pick the worst apartment? I have nothing against the management as they all have been professional and kind. However, I was explicitly told when I toured the apartment that they never have bugs. So. Was I lied to? I don’t know. I am just so grossed out by all the bugs that my entire experience has been ruined, and at this point, there is no hope for escaping the never ending stream of the most disgusting kinds of bugs ever created. We will definitely be moving out after our lease ends next year. I’m jealous of everyone else who has had such a positive experience. Maybe they like bugs and they don’t mind them?
