and cleaned up like the other properties. I could stay if I could but I have to move out of the area. A lot of places in Syracuse are a bit sketchy but the people with University Townhouses care about the quality of living at one of their properties.

cook. I kill at least 5 flies every time I cook and have to sweep dead flies from by the entrance/exit doors every two days. I literally kill some type of fly, knat, or spider every single day. Earlier in the week I walked outside and saw that everyone’s trash has been pulled to the front except for mine(they offer “valet” trash service). As I look at my trash can it was covered in MAGGOTS! I assume whoever “valets” trash saw the maggots and didn’t bother to touch my trash. I had to email the leasing office in order for the trash can to be removed from the front of the unit. I have cleaned mice droppings out of my bedroom dresser and they have reappeared. I then took the drawer out the dresser and saw a mice that run across my bedroom the following night. I have a dog in my unit and can’t leave him in here alone where mice run around. I’ve asked the leasing office for pest control since I’ve been encountering these bugs and they are just now agreeing to have them after basically begging for weeks. They have also acknowledged that they think pest control won’t do much for the home since I already spray for bugs daily. I also requested to talk to the property owner about a exterminator for the home. I missed his call by 7 minutes and when I called back the leasing agent told me they won’t send a exterminator because they wanna take the “safe” way and not “harm” the mice but instead just put more traps down on MONDAY (leasing office is closed all weekend). I am extremely disgusted with my first month here living with bugs, pests, and rodents. I have a roommate moving in this week and I feel bad for the situation she’s about to move in to. It may appear to look like decent apartments but everything is not what it seems. Highly disappointed with this place and this living situation.
