Never send your children to these apartments!!
October 1, 2023After hearing complaints from my child and his roommates about the roaches and the inconsistency on the monthly bill, I made a trip down there. Roaches everywhere and one of the lights they said was "on the list" to repair 6 months ago is still not fixed! And God help us if they had a fire because the fire alarm was continuously going off and they were told to unplug it. To no avail, still unplugged and broken!! If I had to do it over again, I would NEVER have put my child in these ...conditions!! They are money sucking mongrels!!Property Manager Responded

Best TSTC Housing!
November 4, 2020Village Oaks Apartments has been nothing but excellent during my stay here. When I started looking at TSTC I was directed by the school to these apartments and I am glad they did. The Model unit was able to give a full understanding of the different ways I could set up my apartment. When I am planning to be somewhere for a longer period of time I ask ALOT of questions and the RAs stepped up to the plate and gave me every confidence when I left that day that I had made the right choice. The Lease ...was very upfront with the terms and community policies and none of them are un-reasonable. When you walk in the RAs will greet you with a smile and are very helpful. Excellent Apartments
November 3, 2020Village Oaks is an excellent apartment complex to stay at. There is an east and west side, separated by a road down the middle. Both the east and west side have a laundromat, and BBQ grills where you could hang out, eat and have fun . The clubhouse has a pool table and also an ping pong table. The apartments themselves is excellent they're affordable and on campus so it is a great fit for students at TSTC.Reseña de Apartments.com
Great Apartments
October 24, 2020Village Oaks is an excellent apartment complex to stay at. There is an east and west side, separated by a road down the middle of campus. Both the east and west side have amenities such as a laundromat and BBQ grills. Right next to the office/clubhouse is a sand volleyball court that is open for residents to use. The clubhouse has a pool table and a ping pong table. The apartments themselves are in good shape and the layout is very aesthetic with flowers, plants, and nice sidewalks everywhere. ...They're affordable and on campus so it is a great fit for students at TSTC.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
Terrible complex
October 10, 2017Horribly overpriced, water was shut off every other week, parking spaces are tiny, parking lot is almost always full, lots of drunk redneck shenanigans at nights, Nickeled and Dimed for all sorts of stupid stuff. Living here is not worth being on campus.Reseña de Apartments.com
Stay Away!
May 14, 2017Overpriced. Bad management. Just awful place to live. Only positive is the proximity to campus. My son was forced to move twice (because of renovations) with no compensation but they charge him for leaving early due to graduating. He had major issues with a roommate having several friends staying over all of the time and smoking marijuana in the apartment. Management did not do anything. The 6 x 9 rat trap
July 20, 2015Welcome to the college experience, they said. Maintence will come to repair things, they promised. Our bathrooms have been refinished, they crooned sweetly. Village Oaks at TSTC was the worst apartment experience that one could ask for while at college. While conviently located, the good points stop at that. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful at best. They have assigned "RA's" that you can contact in an emergency situation, but they never answer and the voicemail box is entirely full. Same ...goes to the maintence. My a/c unit blew out TWICE in the middle of August, getting to a lovely 94 degrees indoors, and then would not come until Monday. (Which breaks Texas Renters Agreements) When December came, so did the rats. After multiple infestations in many apartment units, the solution was to start randomly inspecting rooms for cleanliness, which would be fine if they knocked before entering. Roaches are so common that Orkin comes every Friday, and forget about asking about the mysterious stains on the rugs. But the bathrooms, those Newly Refinished Bathrooms, what a joke. The paint finish on the tubs chipped up within a matter of days, and when we were asked to vacate for 3 days to respray the finish, my roommates and I came back to a grand ol' nothing. Welcome.
