  • Former Resident, rent is getting higher with nothing to show for it

    We moved out recently due to job relocation but most likely would have moved out regardless at the end of our lease, as whatever is going on with neighboring tenants and management has just gotten increasingly worse over the past year. The staff and maintenance themselves are very nice, but otherwise the state of the complex itself is increasingly dirty and disorganized while the rent climbs higher, as compared to when we first moved in three years ago. Valet trash is unreliable and will just ...
    drag trash bags through the halls and sometimes just not take them out and/or leave them on the outside curbs in the middle of summer, so the buildings stink and trash is littered all over the hallways. There's dog poop EVERYWHERE in grassy areas and on the sidewalks, it is unavoidable at this point. Both pools went uncleaned for so long during this summer that they were green and filled with leaves. The fitness center was half constantly closed and half "soon to be 24 hours," for the entire time we were there. One of our newer neighbors had audible domestic incidents happening practically every month. When we moved out we were charged for anything possible and given vague reasons as to why; with the amount of other tenants we saw also moving out in the months before we did, management is losing money and doing whatever they can to make a cent back from any tenant that's getting out. Do yourself a favor and move in elsewhere.

  • Overpriced, Worst Place to Live

    Trash is everywhere, property management never responds in a timely manner, the pools are constantly out of service, roaches live rent free, poor ventilation, maintenance either does the job half way or just closes the request out. No pest control, trash valet drags the trash through the building so there is always cat litter, food, and garbage scattered through the apartment buildings. Worst experience ever.

    Such a beautiful complex that I can call home. It really is more than just an apartment here. Its comfortable and cozy, the community is very active and polite. Its peaceful and quiet here. Just an overall great place to call home. Maintenance is very efficient. The office team is great. Definitely recommend!!!

    I lived in my previous home for almost four years and would have stayed had I not needed another bedroom. Moving here was an excellent decision and I am very happy. Management is great, maintenance was on time and fixed the small issue I had and I am looking forward to this next year here.

    We are impatiently waiting for our lease to end next Fall. At first glance, Walker Ranch Apts seemed like a nice quiet family oriented community. The neighbors are very nice and quiet. The office staff is attentive and friendly. HOWEVER, parking here at the complex is absolutely terrible. This is something we were not aware of before moving in, because we only visited the complex during the day when there is plenty of parking. Living here has made us not want to do anything after 6pm or else we ...
    will have to park 2-3 buildings away which results in a long walk from our car to the apartment. We signed a lease for a "renovated" apartment, but as the months go on we have started to notice the sloppy work that was done in our unit. The paint job throughout the entire apt is terrible. There are spots where we can still see the ugly beige under the grey color because they did not paint properly. Some caulking in the apt was done very sloppy and has so many gaps. The flooring in the restroom was not even glued all the way down in some areas. Renovations were very very poorly done. It is disappointing to notice all the flaws in this unit as the months go on. Also, one of the light fixtures in our unit was broken when we moved in. It took maintenance FOUR MONTHS to come in an fix it. It was left hanging during those four months until someone made it in.

    The staff is by far the best Ive ever experienced. The complex itself has clean, respectful tenants and I love living here. Like all apartments, these too have experienced wear and tear. I only have one issue with the toilet, which has been somewhat temporarily fixed as Im experiencing the issue again. Other than that, I love this complex.

    It is a great community until you realize and here personally from staff that nothing has been done about parking in 15 years. This raises all the flags possible that the staff perhaps does not care about its tenants.
