July 16, 2022Don't move here!!!!! Mice problems !!!!!!! And management will not help!!!Review from Apartments.com
Shame.
August 10, 2018Inconsistent. Poor management. I tried contacting through text or phone call but nothing. I then tried with email, I got a friendly response and scheduled a showing but the thing is they never showed up? I called a couple times after waiting for 15 minutes. Just to make sure, I sent an email to reconfirm that there was suppose to be a showing. I got nothing, again. Shout out to Joel for wasting my time.Review from Apartments.com
Bad Experience; Don't Move Here
February 14, 2016First, I'm confused as to why this apartment is continuing to show a 5-star review when the only reviews on here are quite negative. That said, I hope people are reading these as a warning not to live here! Where do I start... - While the building has been recently renovated, looks are definitely deceiving. The owners did a real bang up job in renovating as they wanted to do everything on the cheap. From not running a single jack to any apartments for WIFI (resulting in the first residents ...having to pay much more money to Comcast to drill holes in walls, run wiring, etc.) to failing to fix windows / screens to pieces of the bathrooms completely coming apart (e.g., towel racks, lights, shower poles) to low-quality kitchens (e.g., no disposal, low end appliances that barely work) to too expensive washer / dryers in the creepy basement that suck at doing what they're supposed to, this place is already falling apart and they reopened less than a year ago. - Heating system is completely messed up. You have no control over your own heat and it's either 90 or 55 degrees at any point in time. There is never a comfortable setting and it's a constant problem. - General upkeep of the area around the building that is definitely still in their jurisdiction is disgusting. For example, there have been heaps of trash, including mattresses and wood crates, sitting next to the dumpster for months, the grassy area between buildings is full of trash, debris, etc. I'm afraid to let my dog "go" there as I think he'll impale himself on a rod sticking up from the ground or something absurd. - They really let the parking in the back alley get out of hand. There are cars everywhere that are apparently allowed to be there, but are taking up so much space - double- and triple-parking people in is the norm in order to let cohabitants have more spots. It ends up being just a cluster back there. - I'll echo the other reviewer's concern about safety. Listen, it's on the edge of Loring Park so there is only so much that we can blame on the management, but I agree that they could do MUCH better to help us out. I moved in with sub-par windows that had broken or no screens and questionable locking capabilities, the buzzer on the front door doesn't do anything for you (calls your phone, you can't actually buzz people in), etc. There's actually not a day that I don't regret moving here from another apartment in the city. Patiently waiting for my lease to be up.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Very Poor Management/Horrible Experience Overall
October 4, 2015My experience at this location has been disappointing at best and disastrous at worst. In addition to the property manager falsely claiming that he lost my rental check and to cancel it (which results in a $40 bank fee), my check has been cashed. To make matter worse, unexperienced and unprofessional 21 year old property manager felt no need to provide an earnest apology. The location has a number of unresolved repairs, including but not limited to the following: broken heating systems, visible ...holes in certain walls from unfinished repairs, broken window screens, and chipped bathtubs, etc. The safety at this location is questionable, as it was reported that a stranger entered someone's apt and stole their apartment keys. As a result, the front entry door locked had to be replaced and we were issued new keys. I also spotted someone squatting in the basement one night. I honestly question my safety here and would never recommend it. Do yourself a favor and stay away!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Horrible Experience/Poor Management
October 4, 2015My experience at this location has been disappointing at best and disastrous at worst. The property manager falsely claims that my first-rent check was lost when it had already been cashed. After confirming through my bank that my check was cashed, the unexperienced 20 year old property manager felt no need to issue an earnest apology. Moreover, this property manager is the least professional individual that I've ever worked with. Sadly, privileged connections supersedes experience and ...professionalism. There are also several renovations to the building that remain uncompleted such as the heating system, holes in the walls, chipped bathtubs, broken windows screens, and the list goes on. The location is also not secure/safe at times, as it was reported that someone unlawfully entered someone's apartment and stole their door keys. As a result, the property manager had to install new locks and replace everyone's front door keys. I question my safety here and can't wait to move out.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
