Negligent landlord
September 28, 2021I lived there for two years. The place needed a paint job before I moved in, but I let that slide. During my stay, the cramped bedroom closet never had a light, the bedroom heater was broken from the first day I moved in, and the roof leaked in my closet. The landlord eventually fixed the roof leak, but did not offer to replace the damaged items destroyed by the leak. During the pandemic, the landlord refused to fix any thing not considered an emergency. The curtain rod came out of the wall ...because it was super glued in place rather than properly fixing the dry wall before reattaching it. This was never fixed by the landlord. When Denver Water told all the tenants about the fifteen year roll out plan to fix the lead gaskets which were contaminating the water, the landlord did not test the water for lead even though the test was a free test. The landlord did not get filters for the sinks to protect tenants. There were fire hazards due to unreplaced electric outlets that had burn marks on the plastic from overuse. I highly recommend going elsewhere. Two of my neighbors were broken into while living in this building. The landlord just shrugs everything off and says it is not her responsibility. There are better options out there. Good luck in your search.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
