Great Space, Not Kept Up Well
August 2, 2015My apartment has great space, especially since it's a pre-war apartment and has 4 closets and high ceilings. For that I'm grateful. I also love the breeze from the water in summer. However, the owners do not keep up the apartments as well as they could. The Super is difficult when you ask for help and often says no. Often I cannot reach the landlord and I must resort to calling 311 for them to take action. The owners & the Super also become combative and rude when forced to handle a problem when ...you have to call 311 yet I've never had them resolve a problem until I call the city and report them. The issues have been leaks, roaches, illegal electrical sockets, and no working fire alarm since I moved in 3 years ago. They did take action when I wrote a certified letter informing them that my downstairs neighbor was harrassing me, which I fully appreciated.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
