Horrible
August 14, 2017I have lived at 40 Vanderbilt for over five years and I haven't had a goods night rest because the walls are so thin that I can clearly hear everyone from the other apartment banging, talking loudly and arguing. I have complained to the management and other building staff but it's been to no avail. At one point my refrigerator broke and I was with out one for almost three weeks. The tenants that live in the building are mainly substance abusers, people with mental illnesses, SSI disability or ...public assistance people. I don't feel safe going outside at night because it's very dangerous and I don't feel safe in the apartment because, whenever they want, security from the building unlock my front door and walk in unannounced. Once I was taking a shower and when I finished and walked out the bathroom, the security guard was standing in the apartment and I was completely naked. I felt demeaned. I'm hoping to find a different apartment in a completely different area where I don't have to stand for so much garbage, unannounced intrusion from the security and disrespectRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
