Absolutely terrible landlord
October 17, 2017The apartment is very outdated and as basic as they come. The tiny kitchen has one of the cheapest linoleum floors you can buy (I was able to find the manufacturer) along with obviously ancient wallpaper - and NOT of the kitsch, ironic hipster variety either. Even though he's retired and lives just a few feet from you on the second floor there's no talking to this landlord as he speaks literally (and I do mean literally) zero English. All you'll get are grunts and other guttural utterances. ...If you want to have any meaningful conversation in English you must go through his daughter who lives off-site. He takes care of basic repairs himself but anything more involved (but not catastrophic) can go unresolved for weeks as he waits on his friends to come by and do it for cheap. I could go on for hours about this place - the crap "garden" in the back consisting solely of weeds, the garage so difficult to park in you'd have an easier time operating a particle accelerator, the searchlight the landlord shines down on your car if left too long in the driveway at night while taking in groceries - but I think this should suffice.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
