Constantly raising the rent.
May 8, 2016The houses and caretakers are nice, the constantly rising rent is not. It's month-to-month, which on the face sounds good, but in reality it seems that they do this just so they can raise rents / add new pet rents whenever they please. Our rent went up 25% in less than 2 years ! They even added a pet rent that didn't exist when we first moved in. Whatever they tell you the rent is when you move in, don't count on that for long...ours went up $25 the second month we lived here, $50 more not long ...after that....$45 more recently...then they just said we suddenly have to pay $50 for our second dog (another $50 if you had a third pet !). All in a span of about 21 months. They are trying to sell the entire neighborhood now (probably why they keep raising rents, to advertise better revenue to potential buyers) so if that goes through who knows what will happen, even higher rents...selling the homes off to individuals and kicking out renters ? Who knows, but the future doesn't look great here for current tenants, like many others we're now leaving.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
