The worst! Waterbugs / cigarettes/greed
February 11, 2020This building is the worst! The management is unprofessional and could care less about the tenants or your health or safety! Neighbors smoke cigarettes and cause the entire hallways and your apartment to reel of second and smoke! There are waterbugs, which the super leaves dead on the floor for weeks. The first floor is the only part of the building cleaned, which occurs once a month by a professional since the super literally does no cleaning at all. Must be nice to get paid and have a free ...apartment to do nothing! The rest of the building is filthy. The stairs are covered in dust balls and cobwebs. The super never evermops the stairs or the floors and it is a 6 floor building. Only way hallway stays clean is if you use your own tools and supplies to clean around your own apartment! There is a filthy brown cover surrounding the inside of the elevator which is covered in dust from construction and people bringing their garbage down to the basement and it is never cleaned. They recently installed washers and dryers in the basement which is in the same room as the garbage, which is completely disgusting and unsanitary. defeats the entire purpose of having a laundry area. When people do laundry, the entire building reels of fabric softener which is dangerous for children and those with asthma and allergies. There are tons of waterbugs, especially on the first floor. There are neighbors who smoke all day long, causing the building to reek of cigarettes. Window sills are covered in dust and cobwebs. When you have an issue, Super and management claim you are "bothering" them, yet they have no problem collecting your hard earned money for rent. Super asks elderly tenants to pay him in order to help them with apartment issues. There are storage units on the other side of the filthy basement which are directly next to a filthy and disgusting boiler room. They are not vacuumed swept or mopped. You cannot access the storage without the Super opening it and being present, so it's at his convenience whether you can access storage that you pay for! They hire the cheapest contractors to do work in apartments in which codes are not followed. In the summer, contractors didnt cover air conditioner while doing roof work and broke many tenants air conditioners by getting dangerous dust inside. They only care about renting apartments and making money l. They have no concern with safety, cleanliness or quality of life.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
STAY AWAY!
June 11, 2016Bad management, and super is very rude and greedy, it takes forever to get something fixed in your apartment unless you want to pay him money.Review from Apartments.com
Location, Location, Location
August 12, 2015This building is in an amazing location! You are literally blocks away from amazing shopping, restaurants and bars. Anything you need is within walking distance. An added bonus is that unlike the rest of the area, parking around the building is super easy and convenient. The entrance way, lobby, hallways and elevator are all kept very clean. I am in a studio and it is one of the largest studios that I have seen. The views of the bridge or of downtown Manhattan (depending on which way your ...apartment faces) are amazing!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
