Community Feel
September 6, 2015When I moved in, almost all of my neighbors came out and introduced themselves. They told me if I needed anything, not to hesitate to ask. There's a deck with outdoor seating for all to use and I often find myself sitting out there, alone, but not for long. It's an area the neighbors and I seem to congregate towards for a friendly chat, a glass of wine or just to feel the breeze. The location is perfect too. I can go three blocks in any direction and catch a bus to the mainland, Miami, which ...is very convenience since I don't own a car. There is a mall, several grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, carry-out places and even a movie theater, all within walking distance. Don't forget about the free trolley that goes from 5th to 17th Streets and returns. They say it takes a village. Well my village is very welcoming.
