  • Update on the complex.

There is New management, they come through with pest control twice a month, thry put locks on the main doors of all the buildings and have security cameras in the parking lots. People are cleaning up after their dogs and they are updating the hallways and vacant apartments.

  • The roaches have a people problem.

    January 5, 2022
50 characters isn't nearly enough to properly warn you of these apartments. These are the dirtiest, slummiest, most poorly run property I could imagine. Homeless people sleep in the halls and stairs. The machine for laundry was kicked off the wall and stolen. 0 compensation for when the fail to meet standards. RUN

  • DO NOT RECOMMEND

    March 19, 2021
***DO NOT RENT FROM HERE*** The buildings are horribly dirty and don’t have any locks on the entrances, so it’s public access. Literally anyone can walk off the streets and wander these buildings, I’ve seen it happen. They are rarely vacuumed and ALWAYS have a strong weed smell. The people there are sketchy. There’s an extensive history of car lefts and homeless people rummaging the dumpsters. No one there picks up after their dogs, so the dog park is minefield. Our bathroom sink had a small ...
leak and it took the “maintenance” guys 3 times to fix it, and after the 3rd attempt the sink was somehow in the counter crooked. After we moved out we were expecting at least some of our deposit back, but Jackie (former manager) charged us $150 for a broken window that was there when we moved in, and we documented it with management. Now a different company bought them out and Jackie isn’t there, so I doubt we ever get our money back. Only rent from this place as a last resort. You’d have way better luck doing an extended stay at a hotel, that will most likely be cheaper, cleaner, and safe.

  • Very poor management

    July 29, 2018
I've lived here for almost a year and the first three months we're pretty smooth. After that it got kind of out of control due to the fact the property manager was more than disrespectful to anybody that argue with her besides her friends. There is no reason you would want to live here unless you can't afford to live anywhere else. It is halfway decent but expect to be disrespected by the entire staff unless you agree with their friends. This property is ran more like a fraternity rather than it ...
apartment complex. I have never met and more unprofessional property manager. The maintenance manager and the property manager have an underline relationship and use that to their advantage to run the property as they see fit I moved in here due to the fact that me and my ex broke up and we had a three-bedroom house I got stuck with the mortgage. I decided to rent the property out and live in a single bedroom apartment for financial reasons. I was continuously harassed by management due to complaints I had about the property. Every time I tried to comment or contact anybody I got no response.

  • Kinda Trashy

    July 11, 2018
I've lived here for almost a year and when I first moved in it wasn't too bad. After about three months is started going down the hill really fast. The property does not get taken care of the buildings are not up to city code and the employees are all in a band together or friends with each other. It gets totally out of hand and the maintenance manager uses the property as his band's playground. The property manager has no respect for her residence and blows you off if you have any kind of ...
complaint. They are the most non energy efficient buildings I've ever been in. I moved in here because the price was very reasonable but I realized the environment was unacceptable. In one year of living here there has been multiple reports of car vandalism all the way to the extreme of removing tires and leaving the car on the ground. I would not recommend this place to anybody until it's Under New Management.

  • Poor management

    April 13, 2018
I've lived here for over 2 years now and have seen the apartment go through different management and rules. The walls and ceiling of the apartment are paper thin. Any noise made at conversation level can be heard by neighbors (up/downstairs and next door), so be prepared to hear anything/be heard, and to possibly have neighbors that are purposefully loud, harass, and disrespect you. Recently, policy changed allowing up to 2 dogs in an apartment. I personally have zero problem with and love dogs, ...
but had many issues with the neighbors above me for noise AND harassment. I was forced to contact police one day due to an incredibly loud domestic dispute happening upstairs, dogs knocking furniture, howling, and all. After that issue, they began to effectively hate us. Even before this incident, the upstairs neighbors began ignoring our pleas for quiet during late hours weekdays, despite talking to them in person (respectfully). We tried to let them know when it was too loud with a light tap on the ceiling , which began to be answered with loud stomps or jumping. Another neighbor joined in with them and proceeded to threaten me and harass some guests I had over because our upstairs neighbors asked them too. They dumped water on our cats from their porch, and have purposefully made their dogs be loud (LATE into the night on WORK DAYS) after being begged to please keep it down. My fiance and I have to be up almost every day between 5 am-6 am, and are now being actively harassed. They now take our pleas as a challenge. The reason for these issues escalating to the degree which they have is due to completely unprofessional management. After expressing these problems to the manager/landlady, we were met with a variety of unhelpful, unprofessional suggestions. Even though we expressed we have already tried to talk to them like adults and they refuse, she proceeded, multiple times, to convince us to talk to them AGAIN anyway (giving us their name and number). I didn't want them to have my name and number, considering they actively harass me, my fiance, and our cats. She has become pretty good friends with them, and told us in an office meeting that nothing official can be done, EVEN with the active harassment, and proceeded to suggest that we just call the police if the noise continues past quiet hours. So, if you want to live somewhere where you literally can't get any help from management for being ACTIVELY HARASSED.

  • Great location, great staffs, great maintenance

    January 17, 2017
I lived for two years in a one bedroom premium apartment here. All I remember from managers (Brian and Cameron) was kind and fast caring to our requests. Maintenance on-site and always helpful. It has drinking water filtration system for both kitchen and bathroom which is a nice idea and valuable to me. Large Patio is one of my favorites in this apartments. You and your friends can get together in spring and summer on the terrace.

  • worst place to live

    February 23, 2016
If you don't mind a careless maintence crew, rude staff and your apartment being entered without notice feel free to rent here. I stayed here with my gf and I do not recommend anyone staying here. We had a glass door to be replaced and they told us it would only take hours to fix. For several months, our door was unmanaged, leaving cold air in our apartment during the winter causing our heat bill to rise. Once they finally got the door, it was the wrong one and there fore more time to take. After ...
not know what they were doing, they thought it would be a great idea to leave the apartment with a tarp over the unfinished project. I wasn't going to settle for that. While they were working on it, they left their tools on our personal belongings. We had to ask them to clean up after themselves instead of them cleaning up. There are just so much things wrong here. I will never tell anyone to live here.

  • Great place to live

    September 14, 2015
I moved into the Ash Street Place Apartments with my boyfriend Kevin in March of 2014. We had looked at alot of different apartment complexes in the area and had it narrowed down to either Ash Street or Courtyard. One of the main things that sealed the deal for us is the Leasing Consultant, Brian. He is knowledgeable about the property, outgoing, personable and genuinely cares about all of the residents here. Our apartment is perfect for us. The bedrooms are fairly big. We have enough closet ...
space even for my excessive wardrobe. The apartment is in good repair and any time we have had an issue with anything, maintenance has always taken excellent care of us. Overall, just a great place to call home.

  • A great apartment community

    July 30, 2015
A great place to live for students and families, and whenever there's an issue the maintainance staff is simply the best. They are also very good at making sure that the residents safety is a top priority, there has been plenty of changes and I'm sure there will be. More to come. I'm glad that I can call these apartments my home.
