June 24, 2024The apartments are very small for the price that they charge for rent. Your amenities are included, but you never have access to them. The gym has been locked for almost the whole year that I’ve been here. The laundry facility looks like it’s never been cleaned with nonworking machines, the pool is never clean, but you are paying for these amenities in your rent. Trash compactor is always full and over flowing.Property Manager Responded

rodent in my wall
March 4, 2024I have been back-and-forth to Office every day for over a month now trying to get them to get pest control to get this rodent out of my wall and now it is stinking up my apartment. I also have numerous other maintenance request that still have not been taken care of since I moved in, I cannot wait to move out of this place.Property Manager Responded

August 25, 2023The overall management of Avana leaves something to be desired with the "tour an apartment" option not updating according to what rooms they have available, requiring a move-in condition form to be completed before move-in, and the listed phone number often linking to Avana as a whole rather than the specific community. However, once you get in contact with the people in the office of Avana South Oaks, everything changes for the better. They are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and quick to ...reply and come up with fixes. I have only had positive interactions with the staff in the office.
