January 18, 2025After staying here for a year or so it’s a okay apartment, I stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment Pros: quiet neighbors in my experience, close by a police department , felt pretty safe , play ground for kids , maintenance up kept (sprayed for bugs ) , fairly dog friendly, water included in rent Cons: close by a rail road track , and fire station (sirens) can be noisy at night , have to pay for laundry card and pay for laundry room access , small pool , can be caught with alot of hidden fees if ...not carefulRead MoreReview from Apartments.com

Loved Living Here!
August 29, 2023I moved into a renovated 1 bedroom early in 2020, just a month or two after the pandemic hit, and moved out-of-state in August 2023. I loved living here, and discovered it through Apartments.com. Apartments are in close proximity to a large number of restaurants and stores. As a woman I never had any issues with crime or feeling unsafe. The complex itself is quiet and beautiful. Maintenance always arrived on time, and routine pest inspection (NEVER had any bug problems!) occurs monthly. Even ...the most minor maintenance was taken seriously and fixed quickly. Maintenance requests and bills are easy to handle through the portal. The office staff were always helpful, especially Michelle. They always answered the phone/emails in a professional and respectful manner. Even after I moved out, upon realizing I left behind a sentimental item, Michelle went above and beyond to collect it and mail it to me at my new address! Notice of our security deposit was mailed within 2 weeks, and was completely fair with no surprise charges. I wish the laundry system was a bit better, as there is usually 1-3 machines out of order, but I never had any trouble in the end. My only regret with this apartment is that we didn't upgrade to a 2 bedroom! This was a great place to live overall, and I would recommend it to anyone.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Many years enjoyed here
July 7, 2022There are many things I really love about living here, but the tops are the well kept grounds, nice amenities, location, awesome property managers, and all around a great apartment to live in. I have lived at a few of the Sun Residential spots, and they are all exceptionally run. I think that is what sets them apart from other similar complexes. The pool is a huge bonus for hot louisville summers :) I would recommend anyone.Review from Apartments.com

March 5, 2022Current resident. The apartments are nothing more than ok. Management is great, maintenance always come in a timely manner. However, the one bedrooms aren’t worth the price you pay for no washer dryer. If you’re looking for a quite area this is far from it. Residents are always having parties. November 4, 2019My family and I have resided with Bardstown Forest for 3.5 years so far and I can't say enough outstanding things about their apartment homes! Its clean, quiet, several street lights throughout the property that you hardly find a dark place at night (very important), well kept landscaping etc! Ms Sherri, Stacy, Savannah, Michelle and Mr. Tim are all amazing and very professional to work with! Any problems or concerns that we've ever had, they have always addressed them professionally and ...punctually. My husband and I started out with our first 1 bedroom together and expanded to a two bedroom as our family grew. We loved being with this company so much that gracefully when it came to expanding to a 2 bedroom with washer and dryer hookup, Ms. Sherry worked diligently to ensure we were taken care of!
