August 20, 2022I rented here recently and left on good terms, but the property manager kept over $500 of my deposit. I've always received full deposits back in my 15+ years of renting, so I thought it was mistake. However, she then sent me copies of bills for a cleaning fee and a pest control treatment, not because of any damage or need for deep cleaning or because there were any pests in the unit, just the regular turnover process they do in between renters (and yes, I cleaned the apartment thoroughly before I ...turned in the keys). Just be aware you'll pay for hidden fees with your deposit but it's not stated anywhere in the application process or lease.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
