Not Safe and Not “Luxury”. Management does not care either.
December 23, 2021My family and I moved across the country to Denver and wanted to live in Central Park. We moved into the Botanica Apartments about 2.5 months ago. So far: The day before we were set to move in we visited our apartment and saw the apartment was painted, but that was it. It was filthy, unclean, and had multiple maintenance issues. We brought this up to management and they scrambled to clean the apartment which led to us moving into the apartment with wet carpets and the cleaning men and women ...present when we showed up with our moving truck. They literally cleaned it just about an hour before we moved in, which means it was not done well. The overall quality of the apartment is not great and the price in which they rent these units is outrageous for what you get. PICTURES ATTACHED. THE THEFT here is the big issue. They have lights to combat that. THATS IT. NO CAMERAS, NO SECURITY. NOTHING. In 2.5 months I saw: 1. A truck tailgate get stolen 2. A car get its window smashed in 3. A truck get stolen 4. Multiple catalytic converters get sawed off vehicles 5. A MAN GOT SHOT literally in the apartment parking lot 6. Packages stolen 7. Mail boxes broken open and mail stolen What are they doing about that? NOTHING. I have asked them and others have multiple times to get cameras or security. NOTHING. I've called the police multiple times for these crimes, what's the first thing they ask me; "Are there cameras?" NOPE. The worst part about this is, when I have tried to post to the community board for tenants warning them of these crimes they block my post so others can't see it! They're really working hard to sweep everything bad under the rug to get new tenants in which is sad, because a man was shot behind our apartment NEXT TO A PLAYGROUND and I want the people here, the families and more importantly the KIDS to be safe. They clearly care more about PR then the safety of their tenants. They're going with the cheapest options available and charging you the most they can. October 8, 2015This building has convenience for the area of being close to downtown and the airport. Prices are unreasonable for what you get out of it. Maintenance takes months to come, and that's if they show up. The staff is really friendly but don't really care about their jobs or facilities. the rent should be about 30% less for the age of the building and nothing undergoing upkeep.Review from Apartments.com

July 29, 2015Nice apartments: lots of natural light, low utility bills, and responsive management when things need to be fixed. The only ongoing problem we've experienced is that the call boxes haven't worked since we moved in, with no fix in sight. Pretty darn inconvenient when you live on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Rates fluctuate daily, and are ay by their company algorithm, so get a quote in writing if you're not signing a lease that same day.Review from Apartments.com
