Great place and fantastic support from leasing office
September 27, 2023I live in Aldon apartments with my family and enjoying it. Apartments located close to downtown Bethesda where we have access to almost everything. Our apartment was renovated before we moved in which was great. Rental office members are very supportive and nice.Review from Apartments.com

Haven’t moved in yet but hope to
January 30, 2022So far I’m just in the beginning phase of the process of potentially moving here. Thus far communication and customer service has been AWSOME! Shoutout to Timothy who has been diligently and patiently helping me through this process and showing me all that I have requested!!! I’m hoping to move here soon! If I do I will definitely be following up and hope I still feel the sane as I do now!!!Property Manager Responded

You will never sleep
November 1, 2019On the plus side, the apartments at 4757 are clean, spacious, cheap, and are near the Metro and Crescent Trail. Also, good water pressure. The downsides: - Package deliveries are left willy nilly in the lobby. Sometimes you'll get a note from management in the main building that they have a package for you. Other times you'll just have to wonder where it is or assume it's stolen. I highly recommend getting a p.o. box if you make the desperate decision to live here. - You will never sleep ...through the night. The walls and floors appear to be made of tissue paper, cobwebs, and a mystery material whose only purpose is to conduct sound as efficiently as possible. I hear every step my upstairs neighbor takes and the creaking of every floorboard. I hear him yawn. I have asked him to walk more quietly. That lasted for five minutes. He wakes me up late at night and early every morning. I now live on his prostate's schedule. I left a note for my downstairs neighbor that I could hear every word of every phone conversation he had and every television show he watched. I covered my entire bedroom in foam puzzle mats, a 9x12' rug, and another 8x10' rug on top of that. I tried three sources of white noise at the same time, ear plugs, and a pillow over my head. This accomplished nothing except setting me back $300 and giving me an ear ache. He also seems to enjoy starting his phone conversations at 4 am, inexplicably in his bedroom. I can only assume that he is calling my upstairs neighbor so that they can coordinate making noise every minute I am trying to sleep or concentrate. When those two aren't slamming every door in their apartments, aggressively heel striking, and having 2 hour long phone calls, my next door neighbors are having loud, late-night sex. I have never met them, but I know the woman likes to vocalize. Luckily, unlike my downstairs neighbor, they don't seem to live their entire lives in the bedroom. I have taken to sleeping in the walk-in closet. It only fits a twin, and I can still feel the vibrations of my upstairs and downstairs neighbors doing everything (what is my upstairs tormenter constantly dropping on the floor), but I don't hear individual footsteps or phone conversations (yet), so I'm hoping with enough insulation, padding, and white noise I can get more than 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I cannot wait to leave this place.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Parking
March 22, 2019They will GUARANTEE you a parking spot. What they won’t tell you is that they oversell the parking lot to make extra money, and then they don’t track whos there; essentially they sell every single parking spot multiple times over, knowing they’re taken a solid sum from you, just so they can make money. Gotta love capitalism.Review from Apartments.com
disappointed
May 4, 2017The place is very good, but the new management is awful, you would not find a parking place after a certain hour, the hall stinks the trash, the main door is often out of order, and when you report those issue's they barely consider you, I must quit this place.Review from Apartments.com
Walls are paper thin
July 15, 2016Are you kidding me You only hear your neighbors when they are playing music I hear my neighbors word for word having normal conversations - not talking loud! Walls are paper thin!!! You have been warned! No privacy whatsoever.Review from Apartments.com
Nice value to the lac action
October 4, 2015Aldon is a nice place to live when you consider that we pay about $1900 for a 2br apt in downtown Bethesda. However, due to the old construction you can't help but hear your neighbors at all times of day and night. I know when my neighbors do what. I think my upstairs neighbor is pregnant for the second time, she runs to toilet every morning to violently vomit? There is a free parking that comes with each unit which is unbeatable in Bethesda. The school district is awesome, 9-10 out of 10 ...schools. Grounds are well kept. There is a rodent issue like in all urban areas, but trapping mice has been our solution so far. Walk to everything, Giant, Safeway, restaurants and stores and metro. We don't own a car, never have in the last 5 years. With so little green in Bethesda area Norwood Park in the back of our building is a green oasis.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Rodent infested
August 12, 2015Aldon Management refuses to acknowledge that the buildings are infested by rats and mice. I caught 3 in my apt. My neighbors all caught but the management says no one is complaining.Review from Apartments.com
Great Location, Clean, Mostly Quiet
September 1, 2015These apartments are in a great location and are very affordable. They are set back from Wisconsin Ave. so they are quiet. The walk to Bethesda Row is quick and easy. We are right next to the Capital Crescent Trail which is awesome. The apartments are clean and the residents are friendly. We haven't had to work with management much, but they are pleasant. We have only had one maintenance request. It was fixed in 2 hours. Thumbs up! The only reason I gave these apartments 4 stars instead of 5 ...stars is because the walls are pretty thin so we do hear our neighbors from time to time. It is mostly when they are playing music. We don't hear any conversations. Overall, I would definitely recommend these apartments.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Quiet and superb location
August 23, 2015My first apartment all to myself. The location is perfect - walk to work, metro, shops/dining, parks, the Capital Crescent Trail, etc. My building is on Wellington Dr which I believe is quieter than those on Bradley. Less traffic and people on this side, which is a plus. It's also pet friendly over here. All in all, I am happy about my decision to live here and management has always been very friendly.Review from Apartments.com
