Whether you want to eat there and enjoy an incredible garlicky white pizza or a typical pepperoni, or take home dough, sauce, cheese and toppings to prepare your own creation at your apartment, The Italian Store can meet your needs. Traditional cheese pizza has the perfect ratio of cheese to crust, and a tasty Pizza Allgera hosts fresh garlic, chicken breast and roasted peppers. A sandwich made with Mortadella, Italy's favorite lunch meat, genoa salami and provolone cheese, is a favorite, as well as the most popular sub, the Milano. The Milano has meat from two Italian hams, genoa salami and provolone. All sandwiches are served with typical sub toppings and an incredible olive oil dressing. Besides taking a pizza home, you can also request lasagne, chicken, eggplant or veal parmigiana, or plain old spaghetti and meat balls. With over 20 entrees and 15 salads to choose from, invite over friends and family to your apartment and tout that it is homemade! Self-described as a New York style deli, fine specialty Italian items are what make this restaurant a success, with excellent wines to go with. It's a popular place, with pizza by the slice and delicious hoagie sandwiches very popular with the people in the area. Be prepared to wait a bit during prime lunch hours, sometimes 25-30 minutes. The Italian Store is the recipient of many awards and recognition for its top pizza and deli subs. Make a trip there soon for authentic Italian food.
