Love the apartment itself and the community, but infested with mice and bugs
July 22, 2018I LOVE the apartment. The natural lighting is incredible, the kitchen and master bedroom are so spacious, and there is a TON of storage space. I also loved that we moved in with brand new carpeting and fresh paint. My daughter has loved playing on the patio and our neighbors are all so friendly and nice. The tot lots around the apartment have been so nice to take my daughter to, there are always other kids playing and other parents for me to talk to and make friends with. Unfortunately, the ...major drawback of living here is dealing with the mice and other pests such as roaches and other nasty bugs. No matter how many times they have come and "treated" for roaches and mice, they never fully eradicate the issue. WE have caught over 7 mice in our OWN mouse traps in the past few months alone. We will often see a mouse run across our kitchen floor. The worst part for me, however, are the bugs. I don't understand how they are so bad, especially when I keep our apartment SO clean. I am constantly vacuuming and scrubbing the kitchen and bathrooms. But I have still found centipedes and roaches on my bed, bedroom walls, living room, and all over the house. At least the mice stay in the kitchen! I can't stand the thought of a centipede or cockroach crawling on me when I am sleeping, eeeeh. Anyways, the apartment and community have been wonderful, but we are moving out because we can no longer deal with the bugs and mice problem.Property Manager Responded
February 15, 2022Thank you so much for your review. We are sorry you have not received the 5 star customer service experience we strive to give all our prospects, residents, vendors and partners. The community does have monthly preventative pest control as well as the option for individual home treatments, we just need to know where the service is needed. Again we want to thank you again for your detailed feedback!

Very poor management
April 21, 2018We are suffering of cigarettes smokes and weed in the building and the laundry room. Kids from other building comes in to the laundry room smoke and break the laundry room. We can’t even do our laundry. It very is dirty. We have asked management to get us a lock and fix the door nab but noting has been done. We have talked to management about disturbance by those young kids from other building, management answer was call the cops. This is no place to raise a family. We are trying to escalate it ...to whom it concerns and let them investigate.Property Manager Responded
June 19, 2018Dear Resident, Per our conversation with residents with the same concerns we have started locking the laundry room doors with key access. If your Building's laundry room has not been locked please come to the leasing office for a work request. Thank you Management

Rat Infested Apartment living.
July 10, 2017I moved to this apartment hoping that the reviews I read were wrong. Well I've learned my lesson. This is a rat infested hole. First year of living here, 5 months after living here I discovered I had roommates (rats/mice), For a week straight I would see them dead all over the apartment. The rental office acted like it was no big deal, it was normal. Six months later my roommates showed up again and I was furious. For 4 months straight it was nonstop all over my kitchen floor and storage room. ...The maintenance office placed a bunch of gluetraps all over the apartment and they (mice) will run on them and run off, I saw it with my own two eyes. I called the rental office during this time for exterminators to come and fix the problem and at times they forgot and again acted like it was normal. Another thing they did was filled the apartment with foam all over and the mice ate the foam, that didn't service anything. Finally, they allow me to get out of my lease early because the mice infestation has become uncontrollable. Please save yourself the headache and never move to Creekside Village Apartments.Property Manager Responded

Worse apartment
June 28, 2017The apartment managers are very unprofessional. They won't refund deposit. Whiles u are waiting for your deposit, they will send u to collections without reaching you. No clean, smoking everywhere. U will regret spending your hard earn money and these guys will still rip u off on your deposit. LISTEN TO ME PLEASE DON'T LEAVE HERE. Go to the apartment and ask residents to verify what am saying.Property Manager Responded
September 7, 2017Hello, We apologize that you feel that way. however most likely you were sent to collections because your security deposit of $300.00 did not cover the damages that were done to the apartment. Also at time of move out if you provided the leasing office with a forwarding address you were sent a move out Statement listing the items that you were charged for.

Creekside Apartment
October 6, 2015This complex is perfect for a starter family and/or a single parent. There are a ton of kids that all play together and after a while the parents know who is who. The maintence staff is friendly and helpful, even after hours (had one emergency after hours). The rental office staff is friendly and helpful as well. it is located on the metro line and has a ton of stores, shopping within a few mile radius. The schools that feed into the neighborhood are excellent and within FCPS system. I have lived ...here for over 4 years and have a true since of community.Property Manager Responded
