Horrible Management
October 12, 2024Been living here for 7 months. I live in the most expensive unit the Warwick. We got the townhouse with our wood floor being damaged with dust and debris coming out of it. I’ve talk to management and even called into the Cortland head office in Atlanta. They told me they can’t fix it and gave me a defective unit. Also, I’ve complained about the marijuana scent coming from my neighbors to the management multiple times. Nothing has been done about it even though it is a no smoking community.Property Manager Responded

There are times, due to the age of our community, we do have items within the apartment that are conditional and noted at move-in. We are a non-smoking community and act on every concern and complaint regarding those residents who break this rule. Unfortunately, in some cases we must reach out to the offending resident multiple times after receiving a complaint. If you are still experiencing a neighbor smoking, please contact our office so we can reach out to your neighbor again regarding our no smoking policy. October 13, 2023So, Berkeley Park is a pretty clean place with some cool people living here, but the rent is just crazy high. They even bumped it up by almost 20% recently! There's been a ton of construction going on too - roof fixes, gutter stuff, painting, and road work. It's been a hassle, with parking spots taken by construction crews and kids not having a safe place to play outside. Also, for how much we're paying in rent, you'd think there would be a party room or some kind of hangout spot, but there's ...nothing like that. The gym is just okay too. Great apartment!
August 2, 2023Apartments are newly remolded, and the facility amenities are great! Alanna is the property manger and she is super responsive and wonderful to work with. Always there to assist in any way possible. There are various events run throughout the year that are fun and engaging. March 16, 2022My wife and I had to break our lease before moving in after my mother-in-law found out she had cancer. We received no leniency on our penalty fees, having to pay two months of rent (60 days) and a buyout fee (worth two months of rent). Not a good look.
